I just shout at my house and things happen!
We now have 4 of these in the house (2 new, 2 over 6 months, no reliability problems so far) running the kettle in the kitchen, a bedside lamp upstairs, a lamp that serves as the main light in the living room most evenings and a spare that unless I think of something in the mean time will probably do seasonal duty on (indoor) Christmas tree lights. I've got the meross app on my phone but that was only really used for setting up (under 5 minutes per device and no problems despite having a fairly complex home network set up) and do the control via google home (we've got 3 chromecasts, 2 google phones and a google home hub in the house so it made sense to keep it all in one ecosystem) - integration with that was very easy, one the device is named in the meross app open the home app and it pops up as a new device with that name and asks you what room you want to assign it to.We've set up some very useful commands like saying "goodnight" turns off the living room lamp at the same time as turning on the upstairs one so no juggling with lightswitches if your taking the laundry basket up at the same time and the kettle turns on with our alarms (from the phones) in the morning so by the time we've got downstairs its boiled and ready to make the first cup of tea of the day.Theyve been very simple to use- my other half isnt tech savy and shes had no problem using them daily. The only glitch we've had is that one of them seemed to get confused by me resetting the router which had frozen while the smart plug was on, but that was just a matter of turning it off and on again at the wall and has only happened once I think (it would only really become a problem if you were to install the smart plug somewhere really inaccessible)Presuming the other products work the same I will definitely be incorporating more meross devices into my home automation in future.

Bargain, quality & flexible. Great plugs!
I have a substantial amount of smart gadgets and can honestly say that these are the most comprehensively good quality smart plug that I’ve bought;Build QualityThis two-pack is very well packaged and look good. In addition to the sleek design, they don’t feel cheap and have a solid, premium weightiness about them. The rounded corners and minimalist dimensions (2.65 x 2.65 x 1.88) make it easy to place them on cramped and even smaller wall sockets. They have a brushed finished which looks classy and means that they are less likely to gather dirt (though this remains to be tested).Set upCompleted set up in under 2 minutes with Apple HomeKit...simply plugged them in, scanned the barcode and pressed the pairing button. The light flashes for a bit and then voila! It just works and Siri control is flawless.Alexa was a bit trickier because she didn’t recognise the devices. Now, considering that I have other Meross plugs, this was slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, I did notice that there was a firmware update due for the Alexa. Once I had updated the Alexa App, the plug became visible and I was able to control it with my Echo devices as normal and added them to my living room group. So, the update fixed the issue, I believe (though I have no way of knowing for sure). These plugs can also be controlled using the SmartThings app and the Meross App, as well as the normal Google Assistant.OverallI would highly recommend these for Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, SmartThings and Meross App integration. Assuming the Alexa set up issue was fixed by the firmware update (hence the 3stars for Alexa integration). This is a great bargain considering how much more expensive yet limited some other options are.

Good quality and HomeKit enabled!
The media could not be loaded. I have purchased Meross products in the past. They have all been easy to set up and of good quality. These Smart Plugs are no different.Appearance:Like my other smart plugs from Meross, these are matte white and bulky, but do not encroach on adjacent sockets. Whilst the plug does partly cover the physical switch you can still happily turn it on/off.The physical button on the switch has a nice click when pressed.Setup:I set the plug up using the Home app on iOS.The process was the same as other accessories: Add Accessory > scan the code printed on the side of the plug.Functionality:Turning on and off from the Home app is nearly instant. The plug gives off an an audible click which allows me to know the command has worked.Unlike the non-HomeKit models this unfortunately does not have power monitoring which is slightly disappointing.Cost:For HomeKit plugs they are at the lower end of the price range, and are WiFi rather than Bluetooth or Zigbee (requiring a hub) which is a big win in my book.Note: I was asked to review these plugs for Meross
