Very compact mic that works fine for my modified akaso v50x
I removed the internal mic from my akaso v50x and used its connections to wire in a 3.5mm jack so I could get access to aftermarket external mics. The v50x audio processor appears a bit limited so matter which mic you plug into it, it's not capable of producing a wide dynamic range of audio. I read some reviews of this mic that commented it was too hot. That's why I grabbed it. Using it on my v50x, it is NOT too hot. I have done very limited testing with it because I just finished wiring up the jack and getting the camera back together, but I think this is a great little mic and I have no negatives to say about it. Positives would definitely be that it is small. Once plugged in, the mic itself sticks out only about 3/4", which works great to plug into the side of a tiny action camera. It does not have a swivel on it to allow the mic to pivot in a particular direction, but based on the several minutes of testing I've done with it, the mic is truly omnidirectional. I get the same audio level regardless of which way the mic is facing in relation to me so I can see no need for it to pivot. Plus, a pivot point adds more bulk and gives one more spot where a mic can break. The diameter of the mic is about 3/8". It does exactly what I was looking for in a mic for an action camera. I can't comment on its noise canceling quality because I have not tested it with a lot of surrounding noise. It's a $27 mic. I don't expect this thing to be mega sophisticated. I needed a mic that is compact, delivers decent audio, and is fairly rugged and this mic appears to have all three of those qualities.

Tiny and good quality
This small microphone is well made and super compact. Useful for many applications. There is a significant improvement in sound quality when using this vs the built-in microphone we had been using for dictation. We tested it against another mic and this one was the best in our tests. Very happy with the quality and sound of this small, omnidirectional microphone. Exactly what we needed and works great. Product is very well packaged, not just a loose piece in a bag.

I Absolutely Love This Microphone And Can't Speak Highly Enough About It.
I only recently heard of the Edutige line of microphones and I decided to give this one a try because it is so inexpensive I thought "Hey why not" and I am so glad I did. This thing sounds awesome. It is a great vLogging mic with lots of gain and a warm bassy sound to it. I use it often with my GoPro Hero 7 because the GoPro has pretty weak preamps and with this mic you get really nice clean loud but not too loud audio. The mic comes with a foam wind puff which works well but if you are going to be outside in windy conditions I recommend getting a furry wind screen. This little mic is a part of my daily camera kit and stays with me all the time. I can quickly plug it into my Sony or my GoPro and know that I will get great sounding audio without the fuss of larger more complicated microphones. Also as an added bonus for vLoggers because it is so small its very discrete and doesn't attract attention. Again I love this microphone.

Works on Sony, Fuji, and Canon
And I'm not sure why it wouldn't on Panasonic. Yes I have GAS and I have tried it all the systems mentioned above. Specifically I've tried it with the X-T30, A6600 and the Canon RP. A few things prevent this from being 5 stars. 1. I'm not sure why this wouldn't be designed to be a 90 degree mic to begin with. All camera mics are on the side of the camera so why is it facing straight out? You pretty much have to purchase a 90 degree adapter. They are about 7 bucks here on amazon. On your favorite bidding site they have them for around 1 dollar. 2. It runs hot! This thing will peak on all your default audio levels. When using this be sure to adjust your mic levels on your camera. On my Sony they are all the way down from anywhere between 1-3. Without the mic I'm up at 23 (internal mic). With my Canon and Fuji I also have the adjust the levels a lot. 3. It's omnidirectional meaning it picks up all ambient sound. If you are recording in home and you have a fan on or the AC turns on make sure you turn all that stuff off before you start recording; it'll pick it up. That's the reason why this mic is great in a quiet room without ambient sounds. Overall the sound quality is crystal clear. As mentioned above it does run hot so make sure to drop all your mic levels low and you'll be okay. The omnidirectional aspect is a bummer. If recording outside I'm sure you'll get passing cars, trains, birds, and everything else. For this price and compact size this things is impossible to beat. I'm so glad I got it. There is not a cameras on board recording that works better than this. It may not be the best but it'll definitely beat your cameras on board system.

Excellent tiny omnidirectional mic
I've been using this mic on a GoPro 8 and now as my everyday basic external mic on a Pixel 7 Pro with a 3.5mm to USB C connector . The mic is very small and unobtrusive. Its sensitivity is high and produces recordings that are louder than any other mic I've tried. The sound quality is good especially for its size. As it is an omnidirectional mic it picks up everything. Highly recommended!

VERY SENSITIVE, HIGH QUALITY 👉MONO👈 MIC. Works great as a lavalier, but...
The mic at very close distance has a noticeable brick wall, with unpleasant frequency loss well before you hit the point where it levels off. As a lav mic the closest I can recommend positioning it would be about center sternum height, anything closer and you probably won't have a good time at normal volumes. The sensitivity is not understated. Using the sabrent external usb audio adapter, the brick wall falls at about 0db when the recording volume is set to 35%. 35% for the ETM-001 is about equal to the purple panda set at 87% which works out to roughly 2.5x louder. As stated in the headline, this mic is mono, it's wired up to deliver a stereo signal, but the channels are identical. If this mic were to be plugged into a mono jack, the ring channel would simply be grounded out. Given it's small size and light weight, there are a lot of possibilities for dual setups, such as XY or a DIY Binaural dummy head.

Great mic, Not for M/C's
tried using this mic inside my motorcycle helmet with a Sony AS100v action cam. I used a 12" extension cable from camera to the mic. the mic preformed very well when not riding but when moving above 10mph the sound became very choppy and broken. I tried the supplied wind sock, adding another over the first and a balloon over that in various configurations. Closed cell foam and various foams of different density were employed to thwart the breaking up of voice recording as I rode. Again while not in motion this mic worked very very well picking up birds and my neighbor mowing his yard 100 yards away. The mic works but may be to sensitive for moto-blogging.

Amazing mic!!!
I cant believe how much better the audio quality is on this thing, my go pro hero 3+ silver audio sounds good or so i thought, until i plugged this in, the audio sounds amazing with this tiny little mic, it picks up audio from allot farther away and it sounds amazing, i honestly cant imagine recording anything with my go pro without this plugged in, i make allot of videos and most of the time in high noise environments, the go pros mic drowns out our voices when theres so many noises around us, this mic picks up all the audio just as i heard it, also i dont have to worry about how far the subject is from the camera, it picks up volume from a good distance, its nice not worrying about the audio, now i just gotta buy a wind screen and ill be set. also there is a way to rig your phone up to use the mic which is great cause phone mics almost always suck...
