Just installed it in outdoor lamp on garden studio. I’ll put the 2nd one on my front porch. Sensor is on bottom of bulb. If you can’t see it, it can’t see you. I have the 1000 lumin and it’s very bright. Many reports of sensor failure, so I’ll keep an eye on it and report back. Fingers crossed.It’s been working for over 2yrs, I’m pleased. One problem, intermittently and recurring my, the light gets stuck on. Must turn the light switch off and on again. I wonder if it’s power fluctuation. I would buy this again

Very bright, screws in like a normal light bulb, and the motion detection is very strong. So much in fact, that I originally thought these were defective because they wouldn't turn off. As it turned out, a flag mounted on the wall was moving very subtly and was keeping the motion sensor on. After rectifying that, the 60 second timer worked fine.

These motion sensor light bulbs are junk. I bought two for my garage. The first couple of days they worked fine. After a few days one of the bulbs would not shut off after being activated by motion so I would have to shut it off and turn it back on at the light switch. A week or two later, the second bulb stopped turning on when there was motion in the garage no matter how close the motion was to the bulb. I give this product one star, but it actually doesn’t even deserve one star. Don’t waste your money.

I bought these for a light outside my garage that never worked with motion sensing because the old owners put a regular bulb in it. This bulb works great and illuminates a really big area of my backyard when I come home at night. I only had 2 issues with it getting stuck in the “on” position but i simple went into my garage and flipped the switch off and on again to reset it. It’s a little annoying to have to do but for the convenience it gives me every other day I’ll take it! Also I should add im not 100% certain if it’s the bulbs fault or my garage wiring so it could be that it works flawlessly! either way definitely worth the investment!

Easy to use but awful sensitive to the least little movement.One won’t turn off after detecting motion.I have to turn it off and turn back on for motion.I don’t know if one of the bulb is defective cause it turnson and the other light on the porch a couple of feet away doesn’t detect anything .I just leave off that light don’t want to use dusk till dawn .Don’t believe I will buy them again.

motion sensor detect movement in daytime and come on, sometimes it comes on and won’t turn off at all.Update 06/06After 5 months of using the bulb I give it a 5 stars.The first 2 weeks the bulb wasn’t working correctly. It wasn’t turning off at night so I had to turned off in the morning but after 3 weeks of use it just started working perfectly.It turns on when it detect a person coming to the from door and it turn off after 60 second I don’t have to turn it off in the morning no more .I have been using this bulb for 5 months and I will recommend it to anyone .

After several days' use, now I can write better review.Takeaway:1. They will stay on forever if used with any kinds of fixture. Tested on recessive fixture and table lamp.If used in a fixture, resetting them cannot make them working!If you really need to use them (I don't think you should buy them in the first place), you can use an E26 extender.2. Even if you use them alone without any fixture, you might need to reset them occasionally when you find them stay on for hours. That can happen every two days.How to reset: quickly turn off, on, off, on, that will first put it into "always on" mode, then back to motion detecting mode, then the problem is gone, for a while.Below is my original review.Warning: This light bulb is super sensitive, basically make it incompatible with any kinds of fixture.However, if all you want is a super sensitive bulb that can detect motion 15 feet away, you can give them a try.We bought two of these bulbs. When we installed then in a recessive fixture, it just never turned off. Always, turned itself on again after went off for just 2 seconds even if no motion in range. My guess is that it heated the fixture and the heat on fixture triggered it on.In order to test my assumption, I installed it on a table lamp, the same thing happened. Use it with no fixture, it worked as expected.We had no choice but to leave them in the bathroom and the closet, where the bulb can be naked. They did a decent job there. However, we don't need so bright a bulb in a closet!Frankly speaking, other motion sensing bulbs with half of the price works much better than these. I chose Sengled just because I wanted to buy from a brand I know. Didn't expect to be so disappointed.Cheap motion sensing bulbs don't have the same quality nor brightness, but they work! Unless these ones, can't be used in most fixtures.I will not recommend these bulbs to others.

Tried both bulbs. Easy to install?...Yep. Bright?.......Yep. Motion sensors that work?......Nope.Tried both bulbs in the same sockets in two different rooms. Identical results both times. One went on and off at random intervals, even when nobody was in the room. On the other hand, in order to get a response from the second bulb, I had to stand directly underneath it and jump up and down waving my arms wildly like someone trying to signal a rescue plane after being lost in the wilderness for 3 weeks. If the motion sensors don't work on motion sensing lights, the ease of installation and brightness are kind of moot points. Oh....and 3 guesses where this junk is manufactured? Bet you won't need 3 guesses. If you're going to waste your money on these, at least save yourself some time and have them delivered straight to the nearest landfill.

I just received my order yesterday and I have a problem with one of the bulbs. It never turns off. Probably a problem with the motion sensor. I tried it in different parts of the house and always does the same thing whereas the other one works fine. Do I have to return them both and purchase again, or how is it going to be?Ps. In general I find 20f sensor is kinda too sensitive, they light up when someone works by in front if the house.

At night, I was having trouble when I would get to my front door from outside as it would be pitch black...Finally decided to get me one of these and wow, game changer, so bright and quick to respond! The only thing is that I live in Canada and winter here can easily get -20, -30 degrees Celsius. Starting -10 C and below, the light does not function properly as is stays ON without ever shutting off. I guess product description is not that accurate due to this but I'm still very satisfied overall.

Pros:- easy to install- brightCons:- won't turn off even after 1 hour of turning on from the sensor. Not just one, but both bulbs had this problem.Everything seems fine and easy to setup. turned on power and 5s later it turned off by itself. The 1st few motion detection went well and it turned on and off as expected. The problem is that after the 2-3 time it turned on, it stayed on even after 1hr and I had to reset it myself. I tried moving it to other location and same problem. sometimes it even trigger during a sunny day. After 1 week of this problem, I'm returning these.
