Reasonable quality at a good price. The buttons and functions are easy to use, the alarm is also nice and loud. The display is on the small side but is nonetheless clear to read.

I've been using a small magnetic timer for many years now.I used it for cooking timing, timing my immersion heater and exercise routines.However, once the battery goes, it's dead and can't be replaced.That, and the ones I used to buy aren't available at the moment, so I need an alternative.I plumped for this litte (and it is little) gadget, which arrived today.Essentially, it does the job it's meant too, is simplicity itself to operate and the beep isn't ear shatteringly loud! 😉It's also helpful, that it's magnetic, or comes with a decent stand, which means it can be parked on the side of the Fridge/Freezer, or moved around, as needs demand.I also like the fact that it comes with one AAA Battery, which is replaceable.As others have mentioned, the battery is "sheathed" in plastic, which needs to be removed.I thought there was an issue with it, but, once the plastic is removed and the battery replaced, the timer comes to life and is ready for use.I've used it 3x already, within the first few hours of setting it up!Just a hint. I discovered today that you can "fast forward," the timer by long pressing on the minute button, rather than having to repeatedly press it! 😉👍

So maybe I didn't read the description properly - it's smaller than I expected but it's still a great little timer. It does exactly what I wanted it to and I can stick it on the fridge with the magnet so I don't lose it
