If your going to buy this, do yourself a favor and have a box knife and a hack saw. The hack saw blade alone is all I used to cut the tabs off flush. I uses the knife to cut any extra plastic blocking the extender tabs. I would like to point out to those complaining about this product if you wanted something specific for your car then spend more money and get one. This product provides ALOT for a small price point. Yes, it not perfect but it can easily be solved in seconds with a box knife. Took me less than 30 minutes to put together, just follow the book. It didn't fit my radio exactly, the right side bumps out like a 16th of an inch. Everything connected to my new radio perfectly and to the factory harness.

This kit worked perfect for me when installing in my 2004 GMC pickup. Gave a nice looking clean and professional look to my stereo install. I do not have steering controls to adapt to but i believe it would if needed. Makes wiring a new stereo into an older vehicle a piece of cake.

This item is terrible. The bezel does not fit around a double din stereo. The instructions are counterintuitive and the screws that come with it do not fit in their intended holes. The anchor points for the OEM bolts do not line up even -IF- you can manage to get the thing assembled. By the time you figure out nothing lines up correctly, you've already broken off/ removed pieces, past the point of being able to return the kit..... Buy something else!!

Harness worked and mount did too. The mount took modifications to fit but atleast it gives you an easy starting point.. don't expect to just take this out the package and have it fit. The Harness fit BUT you NEEEEEED to run a power wire from your head unit to a 12v source because this Harness DOES NOT have a powersupply wire in it. Other than that ,all wires were correct and worked.

Second Gen Tahoe - Brackets worked well, a bit flimsy but theyll do the job. Lots of flashing on the plastics, get yourself a hobby knife and some glue, and youll be able to cobble together a pretty solid bracket with these. Harness was.. kinda right? I had to depin half the pins, there were some that needed to be moved and some that were extra. End of the day, this is definitely not a quick plug and play part, the bracket and the harness are intended to fit multiple parts and some assembly is required. I think they should include a de-pinning tool, OR ship the plastic harness connector and the pins / leads separately so that you can customize it as needed. I would go with 3 stars because ultimately - it did what I purchased it for, but it was a headache - but for how inexpensive these parts are, I think that bumps it up to 4 stars.

I ignored all the reviews about tabs not popping off and difficulty connecting things because I figured I'd be fine. I was right, in a sense, because I got it to work and technically it does fit my Pontiac Vibe, but the number of times I muttered to myself "what a piece of junk" during the installation process were many. The tabs were fine, the instructions were fine. It's not perfect but it works and when it's all covered up by the dash it's fine BUT, and it's a big BUT, the slots that help you fit the side pieces into the main frame don't fit. They are the wrong size and I had to sit there whittling away at both the slots and the bits that fit into the slots with a knife for quite some time until they did fit. What should have been a 10 minute install took quite a bit longer as I squeezed and forced the little plastic knobs into the slots. Eventually I got them together and then screwed them onto the aftermarket head unit. Compared to those slots the remainder of the install was a breeze. I guess ultimately I bought a cheap kit and I got what I paid for. Something that didn't quite fit right but mostly did what they said it would. I would not recommend this, buy one that has proper standards unless you don't mind fussing with it for 30 minutes hoping you don't cut yourself or break of something important.

Did not fit my car, even though its described as fitting my car. Quality was also very poor.

Product worked for my 2005 blazer. Only needed the two side pieces. Front trim surround won’t fit but side pieces are correct.

Very handy to not have to figure the wiring out myself! I didn't end up using the bezels, but the brackets worked well

Les recomiendo que soliciten el kit de instalación y el cajón con base en su modelo de auto. Yo tuve que comprarla por aparte porque la que viene con el estéreo no encajaba con mi carro. Por lo demás, excelente producto.
