Husband put it in easily- but he is experienced at that. So I don't know about other people. It works well. Vacuum went right back to Great work.

Saved our Dyson! So happy with this replacement brush for our old Dyson vacuum cleaner. Replaced this about a year ago and it is still running fabulously! Saved us from having to spend hundreds on a new Dyson. Would definitely recommend replacement parts.

This head assembly was as easy to install as a plug-n-play component. A friend tinkers, so he had looked over the unit and found the motor on the head burned out and a little melted from excessive heat. He looked for the part online and found the best availability and price via Amazon. Ordered and delivered in a short timeframe at a moderate cost. While my Dyson was down, I still had to vacuum (3 pet household!) so I purchased a Shark Rotator as a backup. The unit is okay, but no where near the quality of construction and effectiveness of my nearly 10-year old refurbished(!) Dyson. Once the part arrived, we snapped it in place and boom! The Dyson was on its way again with much improved strength and pull from the new head. If I had known how easy the head assembly was to replace, I might have done it as a preventative. I beat the crap out of that original head, and over time the bristles had layed down a bit. Now, they really grab into the carpet to get embedded pet hair. Very happy with Amazon for having the part and thrilled at how much it was worth it to replace it. Dysons are worth the money.

Just my luck. The day before I have to throw away my dried out, shedding Christmas tree my trusty 6 yr old vacuum breaks down for the first time ever. It would power up fine, suction worked, but as soon as I released the lever to start cleaning (which engages the motorized brush roll) the most heinous high pitched screeching started up. Uh oh. I carefully cleaned out the roller and it still made the sound. It looked like there was still power coming to the brush roller, it just wasn't spinning. I believe belt had snapped. However, to even open it up and check the belt I'd need a T10 screwdriver. Which I don't have lying around. The repair shop needed me to drop it off for a week and my living room was already in a state. I still needed to throw out the dang tree, too. So it made more sense to just buy a replacement head. Thanks to Prime this arrived in two days and now my Dyson is back in business and all evidence of the holiday season is gone. The roller head came in a Dyson box and looked absolutely brand new. I'll update if any issues occur further down the line, but from what I can see I'll get another good 6 years out of this piece! For anyone else who believes the belt was their same issue and has more patience than I do, you can order a $5 replacement belt here on Amazon. You'll just need that T10 screwdriver to get those extra little screws out of the DC25. Hope that helps somebody!

We bought this to replace the one on our 10-year old vacuum. The old one was so loud and worn out. When I put the new one on I thought it wasn’t working because I could hear it at all. Simply amazing to have a new brush head on the vacuum that I can’t hear. The price was good, it fit right into our DC25 and it works perfectly.

My husband and I were nervous that we might need to replace our Dyson - it is 15 yrs old and we were having some troubles with it. Instead, we decided to buy this replacement vacuum head and new filters in the hopes of being able to keep our vacuum for a little longer. Well the disassembly and reassembly was very easy and intuitive and I'm super happy to say that our vacuum works like it's brand new!

Really easy to replace. A little expensive considering what you can buy a brand new vacuum for, but still better than replacing my dye on with another brand that’s not as good. Have had my dyson 25 for a good 6 or 7 years. Only had to replace this part because we lost the screw to a part and instead of finding a new one just kept shoving the part back on. After 2 years of that it wore the teeth down and I had to replace the head. Works wonderfully again.

We have had our Dyson for 10+ years. The head was not turning consistently. This unit worked flawlessly and continues to allow us to use our Dyson (hopefully for years to come). Thank you for a great product at a fair price.

Nach mehreren Jahren intensiver Nutzung machte der Bürstenkopf erbärmliche Geräusche. Der neue war innerhalb weniger Sekunden gewechselt. Und jetzt hört sich der Sauger wieder an als wäre er neu, und so Saugt er auch wieder!

Mine arrived within less than 24 hours, in a genuine Dyson replacement parts box so I’m hoping it’s the really deal. My DC25 is 15 plus years old, been lovingly looked after so I was amazed to actually get the part I needed to continue using it, fingers crossed. This was my first Dyson I’ve been thru two others during that time, nothing is made to last these days. It’s been a few weeks now and all is working well. I’m totally happy with this purchase.
