These are bad batteries (the last 3 pics are new)
Update: after commenting on the quality of these batteries (more of a frustration), I was contacted by the supplier and they took care of it. Initially, they offered a full refund. I rejected the offer but opted to receive replacements. I received them last week and immediately charged them. The charging process what I expected and I fully charged them. It works great! This was very unexpected and very much appreciated. Thank you to the Vanon team! Initial feedback: I bought them less than a year ago and now they are no longer charging. When I first ordered them, I charged them without any problems, but today I needed them and they were dead! I have been trying to charge since 10 am and now at 5:45 pm, one of the batteries only have 2 bars!!! The second, it did not charge at all!

Save your money. Read review if your battery seems to die
Read whole review for update : poor quality. Work good so far, but has a major flaw. If you run the battery down (use the drill til it stops at zero bars) then the battery will not charge with the Ryobi chargers. In order to be able to charge them from zero bars, you have to first “jump start” them with another battery for a minute by running a wire from + to + and - to -. Why the heck can’t China figure this problem out??? No testing??? Update: save your money These things are aweful. Jumpinging them each time I have to use them. Now one died after about 4 charges and the manufacturer is no help. I will try to contact the seller now.

Less than impressed.
It has been less than 6 months since I purchased these batteries. Naturally at first the batteries held their own. They were as powerful as my Ryobi rechargeable. I would get close to the same operating time from the new batteries as my Ryobi. But now the Vanon batteries have really dropped off in operating time, 10 -15 minutes max with a full charge. Very disappointing. My Ryobi battery continues to operate 30 -40 minutes fully charged. I know, I know...I shoulda bought Ryobi replacements !! My bad. The Vanon batteries should not drop off 75% in operating time with only 6 months use. I use them perhaps once a week at most in my leaf blower, so no unusual or commercial abuse . Buy something else . UPDATE: Seller did notice my review and did remedy the problem by offering a replacement of the batteries or refund. Seller was very attentive to the problem and made sure I was satisfied. 5 stars for customer service!!

Ryobi batteries: how to fix a "will not take a charge" situation.
You get what you pay for. One of the batteries works just fine, while the other worked once and is dead as a door nail . It will not take a charge. Don't even think about contacting the company; they will NOT respond. I have tried for over a week to no avail. P.S. The other battery is now also dead. Amazon says to contact Vanon for a refund and Vanon will not respond. So what do I do with two worthless batteries? P.S. #2. I did a search on YouTube to see if there is a way to fix this problem. GOOD NEWS. There is. These batteries will fail to take a charge if you run them down past a certain point. DO NOT continue to use them in a device once they quit. Don't squeeze the trigger trying to get a little more operating time. That is what is "killing" them. The fix is quite simple if you have another battery that still has enough juice in it to run your device. Just make two short "jumper" wires and tape them to the battery terminals, positive to positive, and negative to negative. This will transfer enough voltage to bring your dead battery up to the point that it will take a charge. I did this to both batteries and they now work perfectly.

Worth the purchase!
Great replacement for the Ryobi batteries. Long lasting and a great price. Unsure on the 7.0ah but they do last long as can be. Went from using 2x of the larger Ryobi batteries (unsure on size but same as these is seems) to using 1 of these for amount 40mins of weed wacking.

Batteries work, but short of the capacity claims
I ordered a 2-pack of "6.5 Ah" batteries. The batteries that arrives had a sticker claiming "7.0 Ah." I did a runtime test of the 2 "compatible" batteries versus a lightly used Ryobi 4.0 pack from 2017. All packs were fully charged. I tested with a Ryobi P704 hand vac running freely with no suction restriction. Fully charged, the Vanon batteries had a slightly higher pitch indicating they probably delivered more power to the tool. The Vanon packs produced identical results, indicating there were probably no weak cells or manufacturing problems. After 20 minutes, the Ryobi 4.0 pack showed 1 bar and the Vanon 7.0 pack showed 2 bars. The tool shut down after 26 minutes on the Ryobi 4.0 and after 27 minutes on the Canon 7.0. One might have expected the Vanon to run 40 minutes or more. However, I do believe the Vanon supplied a little more power. And I also believe the Vanon circuitry is designed to shut down sooner than the Ryobi. It appeared the Vanon had more reserve capacity than the Ryobi. After a 5 minute rest. the Ryobi ran for just a few seconds while the Vanons ran several minutes after rest. I would consider the Vanon 7.0s to have a little more power and runtime than the Ryobi 4.0, but not nearly 7/4th as much. The pair of Vanons was under $60 whereas a pair of new Ryobi 4s cost around $80 if you look for bargains. Most people would probably go for the official Ryobi packs if the difference is that small. Some misc. observations: 1) The newer, bigger batteries may confuse the older Ryobi chargers. Both of these Vanon batteries charged on 3 different models of Ryobi charger, but they didn't all work immediately. Sometimes, I have to remove and insert several times. 2) The Ryobi batteries all light the progress LEDs while charging. The Vanon's do not light while charging. But you can stop the charge and press the button if curious. 3) The mechanical fit was excellent.
