If you troll offshore, but don't live in FL you have to buy frozen ballyhoo and should be brining it before use. Product works exactly as advertised, but keep in mind if you follow instructions exactly you'll likely only get 1-2 batches per jar.

Stuff works great for dying your baits and it doesn't need any refrigeration in the process. The salted solution also has flavor inhancers. I have caught as many fish on brined baits as I have on live ones. Sure beats throwing your dead baits away.
