What are the differences for all wisdom productes

3.0 can detect purebred ancestors present in the first 3 generations and will give your dog’s MDR1 status (Multi-Drug Sensitivity); the Wisdom Panel Health test will do both of those things as well as providing results for 150+ disease causing mutations and a genetic trait analysis. The Wisdom Panel Essential will provide breed ancestry down to 1%, tests for 29 potential medical complications (including the MDR1 test), and up to 39 genetic traits; the Wisdom Panel Premium offers all of the above plus an additional 180+ mutation tests.

During the covid-19 pandemic how long will it take to get my results back?

Wisdom Panel is experiencing no delays in sample processing due to Covid-19. Once the sample is checked in at the lab you can expect results in roughly 2-3 weeks.

How many test strips come in the package?

There are two and they are not really test strips. They are like a little brush type swab and both have to be used on the same dog. Using both strips helps to get enough cells to get a DNA. Not crazy over Wisdom Panel. This is the first time we tried Wisdom Panel. We usually use Embark.

Does it identify black mouth cur even though not recognized by AKC?

We have a Black Mouth Cur that this test did not recognize.
