Let's face it, hooks are more convenient than hangars. But there's not always a good place to mount hanging hooks in a closet. This product is a nifty solution, since it just hangs over the closet rod. The hook is much, much heavier duty than I expected. I ended up buying another one for the closet in our guest room, and we hang a bunch of workout stuff (bands, jump ropes, etc.) on it. Very sturdy. Could easily hold heavier items like boots or heavy coats. As with many small Prime items, the price seems to be a bit higher to cover the cost of Prime shipping -- I wish Amazon would discount 2nd, 3rd, etc. units when ordered together, since the marginal cost of shipping extra units in the same package is probably negligible (but that's an issue with Prime, not with this product, which is great).

This little hooky thing is amazing. We have very little storage space in our bedroom and my dresser is pretty small, so I did a bit of Pinteresting and saw this cheap solution for storing camis and tanks.After receiving it, I immediately yoinked my 25+ camis and tanks that were sucking up space (and rarely staying organized) from my dresser drawer, hung ALL of them on this thing and shoved it in the closet, and bam. I suddenly have an entire drawer for whatever I want, and no more early morning cami explosions as I dig to find the one I want in a dark dresser.As far as size and weight, It's only as heavy and as bulky as the number of camis you have, so make sure your closet rod is stable if you plan on hanging a lot. The hook itself is well balanced, so even if you have a ton of stuff on it, it won't rotate and send it sliding to the floor. Mine ended up being pretty heavy, and since I wear camis frequently and didn't want it to be too much of a hassle to lift and sift through, I bought one more. Totally worth another $5.I'm sure this is made for purses and what not, but it's definitely a must-have for anyone with a lot of camis and tank tops and very little space in which to stuff them.

I am very picky about closet space. I have a baby and I don't have extra hands to pick fallen objects up or re-hang pieces that are sliding on their hangers. Also, it annoys me to no end when you're in a rush and are searching for something in the closet and push all the hangers to one side and purses or objects of different weight/size get bunched up, caught on each other, or the hangers just don't move uniformly together and end up swinging and knocking into each other, tangling loose strings together.This hook looks strong without being bulky, it's has a shiny stainless steel look. Not my favorite look but it never ever lets me down.Scarves, umbrellas, backpacks, purses of different sizes and weights, children, busy adults...anyone can throw down what they need to onto these hooks and they hang perfectly straight, they move with other hangers evenly, and it's easy to find what you are looking for and easy to remove it from closet. I started off with 4 of them and I think I have 35 now in various closets. And they seem to reduce the bulk of purses and backbacks (maybe bc objects can hang lower than on hangers)?, saving a lot of space.

Holds alot

It works. I was looking for something that would hold my son's backpacks in the hanger in the coat closet. A bit expensive as I would love to get multiples. Also I wished that the hooks were perpendicular to the bar not parallel. But good quality and they work well.

I use this to hang up all of my tank tops. Frees up space in my dresser

It's bigger than I thought, but that's good because I have a lot of lids for it to hold. Holds about 6, very handy to have!

I needed to find storage space for lots of jewellery, mostly bling, but some good stuff, and without necklaces getting tangled-up all the time! I did this by mounting two chrome bars under a shelf, hanging these double-sided hooks from these, then carefully draping the necklaces over the hooks. It works a treat, and you can slide them along to make it easier to access the items, which is a bonus.
