The latest in cooling systems from Enermax comes the LIQMAX 120S AIO CPU Liquid Cooler. All-in-One liquid CPU cooler with pre-filled coolant offers best usability and maximum cooling performance for powerful PC systems with multi-core CPUs. Patented cold plate design for maximum cooling performance. The shunt inside the micro fin structure minimizes the "Boundary Layer" effect, eliminates hot spots much quicker and ensures a perfect heat dissipation. Stable performance, higher heat conductivity and tightest fit to the CPU thanks to the extruded cold-plate design. Low operating noise and efficient cooling performance thanks to long-lasting ceramic bearing pump. Blue LED logo displays operation mode. The new Enermax Twister Pressure fan is designed especially for the use on radiators. Patented circular type LED fan with brilliant dynamic sparkle LED mode (ELC-LM120S-TAA). Easy fan speed customization according to the system requirements. With a small switch at the back, the peak speed can be changed in three steps. The fan therefore offers three various RPM ranges: Silent Mode / Performance Mode / Overclock Mode. Within the selected mode, the fan is controlled automatically via PWM.

they were there helping the CPU stay cool. I am using an ASUS 990FX Sabertooth and ...
I must say this unit is the bomb. I recently purchased an AM3+ 9590 which has to have water cooling no matter what (220 Watts worth) and I knew that this unit would be up to the task. I was right! Install was straight forward and simple but I did have to remove one of the fans on the back of my case to fit the radiator, but hey, they were there helping the CPU stay cool. I am using an ASUS 990FX Sabertooth and didn't even have to pull the motherboard to use the included backing plate as the one on this board was plenty. (do however use something non conductive to put between the motherboard and mounting case as the screws are holding the mounting plate as well.) And yes there is a lot, A LOT of force needed to start the screws, but once you get each one started it is easy to lock them all the way down evenly. Temps are idle in the 35c range and never exceed 65c on OC. I have managed to push the CPU to 5.178Mhz without fear of it over heating so this unit is by far doing its job nicely. I also have BIOS set to silent and have C&Q enabled and there are still no issues. I have also noticed that everything else in my case is also running as a smooth 35c Except for my Zotac GForce 980 AMP Extreme Limited, but that is to be expected as it has to vent in the case. Fan is sick looking too with the laser LED's. If you were considering buying this, do it. Great price and great performance!!Game on!!

Incredibly simple, low priced, performance boosting liquid cooler.
I recently installed this cooler on an AMD X6 processor. Max temp before overheating on a stock clock is right around 50-60 degrees Celsius on a stock clock for this six core processor. I used benchmarking torture test software to see how much this cooler would actually help. After running prime numbers on all six cores for around an hour with the stock air cooler, my temps were around 40-50 degrees. After running for almost 3 hours with this liquid cooler, I never broke 33 degrees. Unbelievable.I've never been so impressed with a bolt on cooler before. The radiator was a little too big to fit in my case in dual fan configuration, so i just have one fan on it pushing heat out (my graphics card take up too much room). It bolted right up to the rear of my computer. I advise anyone looking into this to get the "Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound 3.5 Grams with ArctiClean 60 ML Kit" to assure it will be put on properly. Makes installation much easier. While my amd board already had a backing plate behind the cpu for the stock cooler, I still put the one that came with it in just to be safe. They look pretty identical, but the extra hour it took to pull the motherboard out is worth not worrying about if I should have or not.Bottom line: Buy this! Super simple, looks awesome, and works incredibly well. You will not be disappointed. Liquid cooling is the future of desktop computers. Cars were only air cooled for so long for a reason, because liquid does it much more efficiently. Computers are no different.

Good for mid-range build.
Good quality. I'm running a MSI x99 XPower motherboard. Keeps CPU on THE upper mid-range of bios temp scale, while running just a tame graphic card. Not overclocking, yet. Suggest a larger unit for high performance/multi-graphics cards and for overclocking. Poor instructions for first time installers. Had to research to find out that I needed to connect the pump to the CPU fan #1 receptacle and the radiator fan to CPU fan #2 on motherboard. It is not usually recommended to hook this unit to a fan controller, though some do. Mounting bracket screws need a lot of downward pressure to compress tension springs. Be careful not to tighten screws too far that you might damage the CPU. I used two full turns, because there were no standards written in instructions and tech support did not return my email. Over all a good buy for function, but because of the lazily written instructions, uncomfortably tight mounting system, and non-existent tech support I took stars away. I just built a 3D modeling rig, and the entire tech industry's general failure to provide thorough instructions and competent, timely customer support has got to stop. I hope all will join me in downgrading your reviews for unprofessional practices. After all, we are paying them for more than just a product. Expecting a company to back up that product and to provide some clear directions for installing and using it - is that too much to ask?

but still a nice change for a quieter computer
A bit tricky to install, but still a nice change for a quieter computer. Note that for me I was not really to see any lights on the fan as its running. Unsure if it's a defect or a design issue.

Worked like a charm!
This cooled my PC enough so I would not overheat. I have had issues in the past where while rendering a video or even sometimes simply editing a video would overheat my PC. This completely fixed that problem. I recommend this to anyone wanting to get a cooler PC.

Funzionale

Bocciata in "estetica"
