Great patch for real leather car seats!
I purchased this product to repair the leather seat in my truck. I love my truck and when my German Shepard (who is NEVER allowed in the front of my truck!) decided to jump in the drivers seat, tearing a triangular hole in it, I WAS MAD! Made me sick as well. The tear was about 2 1/2” long and in a bottom rear area that flexes a lot when getting in and out. I was not going to be able to look at that tear every time I got in my truck without getting mad, so I initially looked for OEM replacement seat covers. At $200, it was a good option but a lot of work and a bit pricey. I looked at all those patch compounds that make it “good as new”, but I just don’t buy it. I thought I would do a quick search here for leather patches just to see. Well this was advertised as real leather and my seats are black (so not hard to color match), decent reviews and for the price I was willing to give it a try. I figured my only other option was replacing the entire cover anyway, so only would be out the price of the patch if it didn’t work.I got a big patch with the intention of trimming it to size. The patch is real leather, thick enough to stand up to wear, but flexible enough to contour to the seat. I cut it in such a way that there was adiquit overlap from the tear. The edges are finished nicely on the precut edges, so I placed the edge I cut down in a seem. I cleaned the leather of any oil or dirt, pulled the tear together and applied the patch by simply peeling the backer and rubbing it in to the seat. I am very pleased with the result! The patch sticks very well so get it right the first time. After a couple months the patch has taken on the normal creases in the seat with no sign of wear and absolutely no lifting around the edges. It not magic, you can see the patch when looking for it, but it doesn’t look bad at all and it is permanent.****update****Over a year later and the patch looks as good as the day I put it on. The edges have not lifted in the slightest! This is in a high flex location where my butt slides in and out with jeans on. I expect that this patch may outlast the original leather. I was so impressed that I used some of what was left from the trimmed patch to repair a worn spot on my favorite leather recliner.

G35 Drivers Seat
Had several small tears in my leather car seat. Ordered two 4x8. First one was used to cover a growing tear in the middle of the seat. Covered nicely and even sticks down into the sewn seams. Second piece used for two small tears on the side of the seat. Cut the second piece and covered the tears. All Three tears are covered and the seat looks nice. Now time will tell how truly great this product works. One note - you get one shot on putting the patch in the right place as it is very sticky. Get it right!

Need to patch leather/leatherette? This is what you're looking for!
I've bought 4 of these total now. Why? Because they're awesome! If you have a chair (leather or leatherette) that this matches well, then this is your best bet for a quick patching. It is very effective, I've had one on for man months now and there is no sign of peeling and it doesn't look tacky at all. It fits very well the look of the executive chair. If I don't point out the patch to people they wouldn't even realize it's there! The only drawback I can say is that I wish it was a little less expensive and/or that they were available in packages of 3 or 5 that made it more economically feasible. As is right now, at some point it becomes cheaper to just replace the chair. That said though, I highly recommend this product and will probably buy more in the future.

Ruff and Tough ..smooth beautiful Cover-up!!
I put this in the 'bucket' part of my Cadillac CTS drivers seat. I had a stress tear next to the seam of the bass part of the seat cushion.. Needless to say every time I get in and out of the seat my 'hind-end' is sitting -sliding- and rubbing this area every way but loose. This is a miracle patch! I hardly notice it and not one bit of wear or rolled edges. When they say it 'sticks', it sticks! So I recommend this product and will go to this company again If I have any other torn or damaged leather. This patch survived Hot desert temperatures and never loosened ....if anything it became even LESS NOTICEABLE. I was really afraid this patch would look tacky...but I am so happy with it.

Excellent on Tahoe
High quality excellent product on my Tahoe driver seat on the side panel near the controls I had a seat leather crack from 10 years of use. Basically a stress crack from use. Took a dry towel wipe the area then apply the patch after cutting the desired size and perfect adhesion. After applying there’s a very subtle white edge on the patch and I used a permanent black marker to hide.

Easy to Install, Great Feel
I have a 10 year old car with a pretty beat up leather covered arm rest and I bought two of these as a cheap way to cover the damage. I was a bit concerned they wouldn't stick well, as I had to use them on a sharply curved item. Well, they went on very easily and, even at the curves, have, thus far, stuck excellently. It will take a little while to see how durable that bond is, but for now, it seems great. The feel of these patches is much more comfortable and upscale that I expencted. Being placed on an arm rest, my arm rests on them quite a bit. They are soft, supple and comfortable. For this price, I expected a rather hard, inflexible plastic feel. I was very pleasantly suprised. Definitely worth the money.

Great repair for black leather car seat.
after trying numerous products to repair a tear in my black leather car seat I was ready to give up and get seat covers. Every product worked for a very short time then starts failing because the tear is right where I rub it getting in and out of jeep. I really wanted to avoid seat covers because my jeep has airbags in the seats and being a limited addition it has special stitching which I did not want to cover up. This patch has such a strong adhesive and is so rubbery that it still looks perfect after several weeks of use. Highly recommend.

Looks good, but no durability for actual contact applications
I've used mastaplasta for sofa patches many times (normally the extra large to cut to size/shape wihout much problem, though biggest issue is after time, they lift away at the edges. So for my own office chair developing a bit of cracking in the seat front, I bought an 'edged' patch assuming the pressed edges will stop it getting snagged.Unfortunately after following instructions and applying the patch, leaving it a weekend, I was very disappointed that after less than a day of sitting on it, it had already lifted and rolled forwards, resulting on the top of the patch stuck to itself.. its pretty much useless now, and will take time/care to remove it and clean up the mess.Is this a common thing with such patches - cosmetic, but no use for actual wear/tear application? At this price for a small patch, I assume I cannot return it now!

Repaired computer chair wonderfully!
So I bought this as a sort of last ditch effort to fix a massive gape that was developing in my computer chair. The chair itself cost £280 and I didn't fancy replacing it so soon, as I've only had it two years. Company disinterested in helping replace the seat of the chair so I was left with little options. I found this product online and hoped it would do the job, and BOY, DID IT!I was worried about cutting it to shape but it appears to have zero effect on the product itself. I cut it down to shape for my chair so I was able to work it into the groove and down the side, and it's perfect. Not only does it cover up the huge gape, it's super easy to cut into shape, no fraying or problems. It doesn't "look" the best but I honestly think this is the best it's going to get and I'm genuinely really happy with the results.

Fixed a nasty split on my drivers seat bolster
I've put up with a nasty split on my drivers seat bolster for a couple of years and it was getting worse. I was on the look out for a second hand seat from a beakers, but they all seemed to have the same problem and I didn't fancy paying for a professional repair on an old 4x4. So when I found this, I thought I'd try it.It's brilliant. It's been on a few months now and shows no signs of moving or lifting. It makes a great repair that I forget is there. Sure you can see it if you look, but at a casual glance, you wouldn't notice it and certainly not as much as the big split that was there before.I'm very impressed with it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.In fact, I'd like another, the small one with the skull on it, for my leather jacket! :)

New chair for old.
I used the product to stick back into position the underneath covering of a black leather recliner chair. It worked a treat! The chair is as good as new, with no lining hanging down underneath it the seat. Brilliant!!!

Strong but Stands out like a sore thumb.
10/10 for strength..i wasnt happy with first application, so tried to remove and caused more damage to the leather,But, really strong and flexible.i used black, but against my black leather sofa,it actually looks brown. Its really noticeable, but has covered a nasty tear. In short, its effective and gives a strong repair, but doesnt look great.
