Strathmore 200 Series Sketch Pad

I normally draw with sheets of paper, this is my first actual sketchbook in a while. Its honestly really nice, it feels sturdy. The paper isn’t too thick, I thought it would be thicker but it’s still nice regardless. I don’t typically color my drawings so I’m not too sure if it bleeds a lot or not. Although, in the photo I attached on the other side of the paper it has clear dents where I applied a little pressure for shading. And if you like to apply a little bit more pressure it can dent the paper on the other side as shown on my photos :( So for that I would give this sketchbook a B -> A- for the possibility of bleeding through if I were to use markers and the thickness of paper. Although it’s a good sketchbook overall, I recommend using it for people who only stick to drawing without color like me.

Strathmore art paper is a favorite of mine but to buy it locally is expensive so I was happy to find this. The 200 series sketch spiral pad is perfect for pencil, colored pencils, pens but not markers they will bleed through. Im practicing 2, 5 and 10 min figure drawings and wanted something that I can keep organized to see my progress and this being a spiral art book 8.5 x 11 in is perfect. Will buy again

This is a drawing book style drawing tablet for pencil, colored pencil , and for ink pen fine to medium drawings. This is a sketchbook with ample pages to handle my first drafts and for studies . Paper is acid free. Smooth tooth, very quick acrylic washes. Not heavy as I like but you can get your thoughts out. Can bleed if saturated with color. I Like it.

Bought for my grandson (8) who is a burgeoning artist. Perfect starting sketchbook. It is thin paper, but that can be a plus for beginners who use tracing. Good size, lots of sheets! Would purchase again.

Love the thickness of the paper and no bleed through nice for sketching the greatest is the value of the pad. These things are not cheap and this one hold the level and texture of more expensive paper

Got this for my 7 year old who loves to draw and wants to learn how to draw more , I even use this as you can see in the photos it’s thin enough to trace an see through but thick enough to not tear easily . Great quality for experienced and beginner artists.
