My favorite pen since elementary. I hope they always continue making them. If you like fine writting, with not a lot of ink on your paper, this is the one.

I got these to do ballpoint pen art. When the package arrived, half of them wouldn't write. I read articles about various strategies to revive ballpoint pens (eg. heating them up). The simple solution was to use one that worked to make a saturated wet patch on a piece of paper, then drag a dried out one in the wet ink. That got all of them working. Angling the pen and using a light pressure on a paper that has a decent tooth (like vellum) you can make light hatching marks for gradients from light to dark. The full black is pretty decent, not as dark as a gel pen. My only complaint is that under certain conditions it looks a bit bluish to my eye, especially if it's next to something that's genuinely desaturated like graphite. I don't know if the ink is maybe actually a super dark blue, if the mixture in the particular pen I'm using is off, or what.

The pen writes really smoothly and is a good pen. I generally use a .5 or smaller pen, so I was hoping that the line was smaller. The line is definitely not .25 as advertised. The pens came marked with a M on the cap, signifying that they were a medium nib and not the fine as advertised. Like I said, nice pens overall, but I wished they came as advertised.

Al ser de punta fina van muy bien para anotaciones pequeñas en los márgenes de los apuntes, para hacer resúmenes o para lo que quieras. El grosor del bolígrafo es fino y cómodo para escribir. El color de la tinta es intenso. Ya tengo bolis para una buena temporada. Los recomiendo sin duda. Son de calidad.

The Pentel BK77 is a reliable and smooth-writing ballpoint pen. The 0.7mm tip provides a fine yet bold line, making it great for everyday writing. The ink flows consistently without skipping, and it dries quickly, which helps prevent smudging. The lightweight design and comfortable grip make it easy to use for long writing sessions. However, the plastic body feels a bit basic, and I wish it had a softer grip. Still, for the price, it’s an excellent pen that gets the job done!

These Pentel ballpoint pens are my principle brand and have been for many a year, in fact I don't use any other handwriting variety. I'm left handed and started using these and have never found a better designed or preferable writing pen. Left-handers push pens across the page this action with a majority of ballpoints results in bad ink flow, ink smudging and dragging tips. However this particular pen has an outstandingly super smooth feel with a wonderful ink flowing tip, thus making handwriting an altogether better experience, this is further enhanced by the slimline barrel making the pen comfortable to hold for long durations. The oil-based ink is high quality, rich in colour, quick drying, free flowing, with no skipping or unsightly ink smears. I highly recommend this product, great technological design, efficient writing aid and excellent value for money. Caveat: Way back it was possible to buy twin packs of replacement ink chambers (Pentel Refill Code: BKL7) for these pens however these are now extremely difficult to acquire, if not impossible.
