Not good for spas
I wanted this for my swim spa but since spas are not deep, I'm only up to my hips in water once I stand on this. It doesn't stay in the bottom either. It's very expensive so not to be able to use it is crazy. I might have kept it if I had a deeper pool. I'm only giving it 2 stars because of the price, mainly.

I love this!
given that’s live in AZ, I love beating the heat with a pool workout. I used an electric pool treadmill at an expensive resort and loved it. But at 6 k a pop, plus extra electrical work needed, I declined. I saw this and got it 2 weeks ago. Already my legs are showing great definition. It works the entire leg and lower back. Very easy to set up and move.

Don't buy!!!
I bought this thing thinking it'd be a great thing for my health, I've had four knee surgeries and cannot use a normal treadmill anymore because of pain. I bought this thinking that it would be easy to use and it would be effective and helping me lose some weight and get healthy again. It look nice when I got it and took it out of the box but when I put it in the pool it wouldn't stay and place well as soon as you started making a couple turns of the belt it was stop and it wouldn't move again until you really just started putting a lot of pressure and then it would go a couple turns and it did the same thing. This destroys the Rhythm of a workout the stop-and-go stuff. There's something wrong with the rollers and there's no way you can manually set them, they are set at the factory. I've sent some information to aquabilt and they said it was out of warranty and said they wanted to help but offered no solutions to actually help me. As far as I'm concerned it's $1, 000 paperweight and I would not order from this company ever again. This is an inferior product, buyers beware!!! I would give it a negative star if I could!!

Not the right thing for post lumbar surgery therapy.
The belt was very loose which made it hard to get momentum and it kept floating around when not in use making it hard to keep out of the way. To be fair though I will say that I bought it thinking that it would be good for post lumbar surgery and it wasn't. I did speak with a person at the company who was great and approved me to return it and allowed for the refund to happen very nicely. The assembly consists of only putting the handlebar in place and that was very easy to do.

a pleasure
I balked at the price of this manual underwater treadmill, which is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Assembly was simple - just put the handle bar on. Then drop 'er in! Was a bit heavy to lift up over the edge of our above ground pool, but with two people we did it. The machine works very smoothly, feels great on the feet, and there is nothing like exercising in water. It does tend to move easily in the water, so be careful not to use it for leverage. That said, it can easily be relocated in the pool with a simple push or pull.

I was disappointed in quality of unit
I was disappointed in quality of unit. The name brand label came off first week. Unit isn’t very heavy and floats around in pool when not in use.

It was a great purchase. Now I can work on my health ...
With back and knee surgeries, I have been unable to exercise for a long time. Recently we purchased a pool and the Aquabilt A-2000. It was a great purchase. Now I can work on my health with low impact exercising. Definitely would recommend it.

Not for rehab after surgery or injury
Buyer beware! This looks like a great idea for water rehab right? But unless the bottom of your pool is completely flat, this unit will slide, move ,following the grade of the pool until you are in over your head. It was an expensive mistake. When I contacted the company, he suggested I use the rug non skid mat. It didn’t work. Once the unit fills up with water, trying to lift it out of the water is very difficult. I quickly concluded this could injure me as I was using it. I am 5’2, 118 lb. the design and motion from water along with the grade in the pool, quickly put my head under water. Please, if you try this, make sure you have rescue help with any rehab use. Underwater, the tread feels un stable even with water shoes.
