Worth every penny and then some
To be honest I was truly afraid of this, when it arrived the packaging was second to none. When I installed it I was pleasantly surprised that there was minimal adjustment needed. Once my Vdub warmed up I was able to set the curb idle ( which I couldn't do with my previous carburetor, I have had my Beetle for almost 3 years and for the first time it actually maintains a perfect idle at 850 rpm's even when its cold.

Perfect fit!!!
I had a deadline to get my 1961 beetle ready for a car show it has a 72 1600cc dual port in it and it just didn't run quite right, this carb bolted right on and with a few adjustments it runs perfect now, it shipped fast and was direct fit and just in time for the show!! highly suggest!!!

Don't buy this garbage
How can you sell this garbage. Installed one, and installed the missing gasket under fuel cutoff. Ran great. Shut vehicle off and it floods and didn't want to restart. Ordered replacement, no gasket same problem. Put original (before ordered these) back on, hesitates and doesn't have full power but doesn't food and starts every time

Currant air filter no longer works, it interferes with the choke.

Replacement for the 34PICT-3 Carb
The replacement carb was easy to install. I haven't used it yet, but hopefully it will work as good as it looks!
