It sits behind my computer and works away silently. No issues setting it up or swapping in and out drives. I use it for storing large data files that I want to be able to move easily between machines. So it's function over form for me. Having said that the finish is perfectly fine. Well manufactured with tight seals and a spacer to secure the drive when you insert it. No operating noise that I can hear. I am not travelling with it it so I can't comment on whether it is scratch resistant. Overall, very happy as a tidy external drive that sits nice and tidily on my desk and would buy again.

Good Quality product. Nice and simple to insert the SSD or HDD(I did not try HDD but I guess it should work the same way as SSD). I did not see the sleep mode working as I can see the LED is always on. But I did not test it properly and it do not bother me much as I connect the drive only when I need it. Speed seems to be better compared to the previous adapter I was using. Overall very satisfied with the buy.

Looks good and works quite well but have recently had some connection issues. Quite understandably as it is now the property of my seven year old.

Very high grade and expensive compared to others. Aluminium top with plastic and non slip rubber base. USB C and heavy cable add to stability. I have used many different makes of enclosure and this is the most expensive but also the best. The drive is held securely and looses heat better then any other make I have used.. I have two of these in everyday use for nearly a year with no issues

Using this with a Samsung 860 EVO SSD and an Anker USB 3.1 as a backup for games running, insanely fast data transfer compared to downloading. Highly recommended and cost effective compared to prebuilt external SSD alternatives.

Obvious signs of previous usage and parts missing when unpacked. The case was very nice aesthetically but unable to comment further as item faulty returned forthwith.

I've been looking for a case for my SSD that I took out from an old laptop, and previous ones that I purchased either had a strange USB 3.0 connector or didn't fit my disk. However, this one fit perfectly, and was easy to install. USB C 3.0 works fine too!

Read/Write speeds are >350mbs (just) - that's no necessarily a limitation of the enclosure. Its more than enough for what I need it for. Lovely quality too (so far)

Il prodotto è davvero ben fatto, ricoperto da un rivestimento morbido e opacizzato, sono rimasto molto soddisfatto sia per il packaging molto curato che per il prodotto in se e per se. Il case risulta facilissimo da usare e installarci un SSD è una questione di pochi secondi. Preserva le velocità di scrittura e lettura originali dell'SSD installato, non come altri case che ne riducono le prestazioni. Unica pecca? il prezzo troppo alto.

tiene buena calidad y es facil de instalar un disco dentro de la carcasa, en generla le daria 5/5 pero el hecho de que SI o SI requieras el cable USB C que viene incluido para transferir a alta velocidad SSD me hace pensar que luego si se pierde debes andar comprando cables caros y probandolos para transferir a alta velocidad ya que si no se queda en velocidades normales y viejas 2.0, cuiden mucho el cable que viene en la caja 4/5, 9/10.

I have no complaints about this external drive case. It's very easy to install an internal drive in it, feels sturdy, looks nice, and performance seems fine (though currently I have 2 TB HDD, not an SSD, in it, so I can't really comment on performance - I plan to put an SSD in it at some point and will update my review then). The case has a usb-c port, but this set includes a usb-c to usb 3.1 cable. There is another version that has a usb-c to usb-c cable, so pick the one you need. I'm using it on an older MacBook now, but getting a new MacBook Air soon with usb-c and have picked up an Anker usb-c to usb-c cable for it, so I can use it on both laptops.
