I installed lights in my fish pond and they are set 19" under water. I wired everything up and tested. everything was great. I filled pond to just covering the lights make sure everything was still good. it was, I then filled pond to operating level 19" above lights and could not control lights. I started draining to pond and once the water level got to 6" above the lights they started working with control. very bummed and is there are fix or work around to control the lights at 19"?

I have used this design for several years now. The suppliers have changed over time, e.g. Lemonbest, Sungetace, Woowoo, Neewer etc. But the design is basically the same - an aluminum body with RGB LEDs supporting 16 colors w a remote control. The remote design varies a bit. They are bright and they hold up pretty well under water. I have some that are as old as 6 yrs. I use them as color spots in my fountains. Avg lifetime is around 4 yrs which is pretty good given these sit underwater year round and run all night.One note of point, tighten the ring holding the lens in place to ensure a good water proof seal.I have these running in slow fade color changing mode. They remember their settings across off/on cycles. This design is my favorite underwater light.

Original review is below the lights themselves are excellent and well made. The issue with the plug is corrected by a simple bead of silicone to resolve the issue, it is well worth the time, I suspect that most of the other poor reviews are actually what I found out caused the failure simply a little moisture gets in and the pc board oxidizes.The lights are worth the 2 min it takes to seal plug. Customer service is fantastic and replacement were sent promptly. So I updated this to a 4 considering how easy theThe actual/plug transformer leaks, bought 4 , the first 2 still going the second 2 water had got in the plug. It is held closed with only one screw other half nothing . Oxidation from moisture caused board to go bad lights still work on other plugs. Now that I know that I siliconed the other two shut. What is supposed to be outdoor garden lights has to be plugged indoors? I don't think so. The lights themselves are great but the shoddy supply makes it a waste of time and money.

We absolutely love this light! We are using it in our backyard water garden to illuminate the waterfall and it does so beautifully. It’s mesmerizing. There are, however, a few things that, in my opinion, could be improved upon. First, we need to use an extension to reach our outdoor outlet, so a longer cord would be nice. Second, some instructions on operating the remote would be very helpful. We had to resort to YouTube and are grateful to those who purchased this product previously and took the time to explain it. In addition to the lack of instructions on the operation of the remote, we found that you need to be inches away from the light for the remote to work. Lastly, a larger, more solid base would make positioning the light a little easier. I’m not one who enjoys writing anything negative about a product, but believe that constructive feedback is necessary for improvement. All things considered, the light is working beautifully, and as I said, we love it, we’re glad we bought it, and are actually considering purchasing another.

For me, once it was water proof and could be truned different colors at my wish, the remote control was beyond good. It worked from over 60 feet, through a heavy pastic deer fences and through a closed window. The pond water through which the light shines flickers giving the pond a very nice effect. Highly recommend it.

Light was great for 3 months, then colors started disappearing. Now down to red only. Hoping mfg will stand behind product and replace.

Purchased and used less than 1 year and stopped working. It was great when it worked. I emailed seller asking about warranty and received a response. They have replaced with a newer updated version even though is was technically out of warranty. They shipped it very quickly and I will be installing in very near future. Excellent customer assistance from them.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall surprised at how well built these lights are and how nicely they work. The remote is a little hinkey but it works!I ordered this particular model because it incorporates a power supply, at my. All in all pleased & would likely buy this style of light again. 2/28/2020 after one season power supply/ transformer has failed due to moisture / corrosion. Transformer must be located out of weather or sealed. Fortunately I had an old 12 volt AC to DC kicking around the shop so it appears I’ll get at least a second season of use. The light & remote are in good condition after a seasons use and had I known the power supply needed to be sealed I’m sure it would still be functional.I still recommend this product but don’t expose transformer to moisture. A layer of liquid tape would do the trick.
