Bird scaring pinwheels
Bird-scaring pinwheels are an effective, eco-friendly, and low-maintenance solution for keeping birds away from your garden or outdoor spaces. They are simple to use and offer a humane way to protect your plants while adding a touch of color and motion to your landscape. For gardeners and farmers looking for a chemical-free bird deterrent, these pinwheels are a solid option. However, for larger or more problematic bird populations, combining them with other deterrents may yield better results.

Birds Not Scared - Not Even A Little Bit
Most importantly, these do not scare away birds. The spinning is so insufficient that the birds become accustomed to the pinwheel almost immediately, making them completely useless as a bird deterrent. Cheap construction. They provide you with thin shiny paper that when attached to the included plastic hub forms the characteristic flower-like pinwheel shape. Also included is a plastic straw the plastic hub mounts onto. The hub self is poorly finished, with plastic burrs where the seams of the plastic mold were. These drag on the part of the wheel that is supposed to spin, making it spin more slowly or not at all. All in all, it's an overpriced, cheap pinwheel.

Just ok.
To put together, I had to watch the video multiple times, until I finally figured it out. Once figured out, super easy. I bought to help repel whatever it is that ate all my flowers last year. They are shiny and reflective which was one thing I was looking for. I also wanted them to spin, however not sure they spin in the wind. The actual entire pinwheel does rotate because I find them facing different directions each day but I have yet to see the pinwheel actually spin. I do currently still have the flowers and strawberries so perhaps they do help repel whatever was eating them in the past. Fingers remain crossed.

Works pretty well
Works well in the garden to keep birds out. Sometimes falls apart and has to be put back together

Easy to assemble and look good
Got these to put on the house to scare off the woodpeckers and also in our garden to keep out the rabbits. They seem to be doing the job.

Cheap, don't spin very well.
There is a reason these ones are so cheap, as I have found out. No matter how well you assemble them, they only really spin with a very strong gust of wind and then immediately stop. There is too much friction between the blades part and the peg. Since they don't spin very well, what ends up happening is the wind will blow them and turn them around, make them crooked, or even blow them out of the ground if you didn't secure it in well enough. They do however keep the birds away since they reflect the sun well. I am going to try some that come pre-assembled and see if they work better. Meanwhile, I am considering returning these...

"A Whimsical Yard Appearance"!!!!
The pinwheels give a whimsical appearance in my yard as the wind blows which causes a "unique" movement through the various seasons....

Cheap and hard to put together
Assembly instructions were awful. Once I figured out how to get them together, they were very lame on the spinning. Actually worked better for repelling the birds if I just hung the reflective star flat, similar to hanging old CDs.
