Imaginarium: A Strategy, Combination and Development Game, Repair, Combine and Dismantle Machines to Produce Resources and Carry out Design Projects, 2 to 5 Players, Ages 14 and Up

I knew this would be amazing to own from the moment I found out out about it. This had everything from original good quality components; amazing artwork; to an easy to follow rulebook. I loved the theme, the gameplay is a medium to light engine builder with a race to the finish line. I would even consider it a gateway game for those that want to explore engine building. The only negatives I could find was a single misspelled word in the rulebook and also wished they had made the board be able to secure the resource tray from sliding around on the board. 5 stars for sure in my book 💖

Quick shipment, great Christmas gift

Whenever Bruno Cathala designs a new game, it is always on my radar since he has created many of my favorite games of all time. What he and his co-designer have designed here is an absolutely engaging engine builder with an extremely creative and fresh art design that, admittedly, may not be to everyone's taste. But, I appreciate whenever people push boundaries and think outside the box in order to create something fresh and exciting that is very different from the rest of the pack. This is one of my favorite engine builders of all time and it definitely ranks up there with Wingspan, Gizmos, Splendor and Century: Spice Road. Unfortunately, it has kind of flown under the radar of the mass public in the US, but I believe the publisher has had a hard time finding a distributor for it. What a shame that so many people are missing out on this very unique game, which is why I wanted to write this review. Hopefully, more people will be made aware of this game in the coming year!

It might be a good game, but the rules are way to complex!

Took me a couple plays to really get the hang of this one, but I enjoy it! The art may not be for everyone, but I like it!

I do not argue, the game may be very interesting, but 19 pages of rules alone is too much.
