Well the package says 7.05 oz (200g), so divided by eight that's roughly 0.88 oz per mochi.

They technically don't need to as far as keeping them fresh goes, but refrigerating them keeps them nice and firm (and on a personal note I find refrigerated ones more refreshing to eat than room temperature).
