The cable seems to be very well made. I bought it to connect an Ethernet Switch to our router so my grandson could wire his PS5 as he had many problems using wifi. The cable works great! Before it took 2 hours to download a game on his PS5. Now he downloaded a game in 9 minutes!

Needed it for my Chromebook which became unable to connect to the internet anymore. This worked fine. The cable casing isn't smooth. It's kind of rippled. I don't know why, but it doesn't affect the usage and seems sturdy to me.
