Superman

What's not to like ...it's a classic film and one I could watch over and over again. Took me back to my childhood. Great movie to watch with family.

They don’t make them like that anymore. First rate cast.

This is one of the first movies I can remember watching as a boy. I purchased it because I was sick of watching animated movies with my kids and I wanted to prove that a "real" movie could be awesome as well.My skeptical children settled in and, despite having a moan for about five minutes, as soon as a young Kal-El held a 1960s pickup truck off the ground, they were hooked.Let's be honest though, the amazing performance of Gene Hackman was completely lost on them, but the timeless Christopher Reeve captivated their tiny little minds, just like he did mine all those years ago.What I didn't realise was how handsome Christopher Reeve is! Anyway, moving on.This is still a great movie - if you thought it was great as a child, it will still be great.

a fun watch

So we watched this with the kids, we thought "it's a classic that we used to watch as kids" but... By today's standards it's slow, it takes a good 1.5hrs to really get going and even then, has so pretty dull extended sequences... I dunno... It's fine, but, maybe not quite as exciting as you remember it!
