Closetunature 1.5 P tent
So far I am happy with this tent. Pretrip setup on the porch, simple, easy to assemble. Major plus was getting everything back in the bag; including footprint, will provide an update after kayak camping trip next weekend but overall I am very pleased. Lots of room for me & my gear, I like the weight, compact, nice carry bag with plenty of room for extra guy lines, etc.Update: 10 stars for this little compact tent. We camped river side after paddling few miles, easy set up, even used the stakes that came with it. We had a pop up storm of 30+ sustained winds with heavy sideways downpour for about 30 mins, this little thing help up like a champ, all my bedding & gear was dry. To give you an idea of how much rain fell sideways so fast, I bilge pumped over a foot of water out of my yak & friends canoe. I had everything staked out like it should be, mostly for optimum ventilation but all held up wonderfully. I've shared the link to few other kayak campers, I'm absolutely happy with this purchase so far

Excellent tent - light, compact, water-proof, and spacious - at a very affordable price!!!
I was overall very happy with this tent. I bought it in preparation for a backpacking trip with my kid. I originally bought the North Face 3-people tent for $230 but when it arrived, it felt too heavy and bulky. Then I saw this tent on Amazon for a 1/3 of the price with such good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. After going on the trip, here are my conclusions:1) It is ultra-light AND super compact - it folds to a relatively small size which makes it very convenient to carry.2) It is very easy to assemble.3) It is very spacious on the inside. There were just two of us, but even with a third person it seemed that there was more than enough space for three people and the equipment. also - I am 6'3" tall and had more than enough space for myself and my long mattress.4) There are two fairly sizable exits making it very convenient to go in and out, and the zippers are super smooth and relatively quiet (so you don't wake up your crew if you go out in the middle of the night).5) It was raining ALL night. In the morning, the outside of the tent was covered in water drops but the inside remained completely dry! Some potential cons:1) I have only used it once so far. I would say that the material felt thinner and cheaper vs. the North Face tent, and I don't know how durable this tent is in the long run compared to some more expensive ones, but as long as you remain gentle when building and folding it, it felt like it could easily last for long.2) It comes without a footprint. I would recommend buying a footprint separately to make sure you keep the bottom of the tent safer. The case has more than enough room to fit the footprint inside when the tent is folded and packed. In conclusion - they definitely earned a 5-star review from me!

Super-Basic Design That Works!
This budget tent will do the job! Important points: It is as durable as any other tent. It is as easy to setup as any other X-frame tent I've used. It sleeps 4... just barely. It weighs just under 8 lbs. It packs up reasonably well for a 4 person tent. There, that was the basic info. I've used this tent 4 or 5 times with my kids this year in the Sierras (and my backyard, LoL) and it has been a good investment. I have 3 kids who love backpacking and I wanted them to be able to come with me and sleep in the same tent, if we could. They are 7, 10, and 12 years old and we all fit in there pretty easy. 4 adults might be another story! When you take this out, remember you need a bigger footprint than a smaller 2 person tent (about twice the size), so if you have a bigger group, it MIGHT be better to invest in 2 smaller 2P tents. That said, this really is a good bang for your buck! I know the weight of 8 lbs sounds like a lot for a tent these days, but remember you're sleeping 4 people... break that weight up among them and it's not bad at all.Oh! The screen is decently see-through (I like to watch the stars at night), but not the best among tents I've owned. The Zippers are smooth as butter, if that matters to you. Also has 2 doors, which is actually REALLY nice with 4 people in there. The mesh starts around 8-10 inches up. I'm sorry I can't speak to the water-resistance! We don't get a lot of rain here in Cali and my kids probably wouldn't want to go out in the rain anyway, LoL. It does have 4 pockets for stuff in the corners, but I've found things can tumble out if you're not careful. All in all, don't be afraid to invest in this tent; it is just as good as other options out there in this price point.

Excellent product and service to match!
Absolutely amazing product and service!I bought this tent before a trip to Canada in 2023, and it worked beautifully: quick and easy to set up, comfortable for 3 ppl, quick and easy to break down. I talked it up so much that my brother asked if he could borrow (keep) it, and I naively let him (never got it back).Fast forward 3 years, my partner and I are going on another backpacking trip, so I buy the same tent again.Oh no! What shows up is 2 rain flaps, instead of a tent and a rain flap! Worse still, I didn't discover this until 2 months after it arrived (= 1 month after Amazon stopped taking returns 😭).I reached out to the seller directly and explained the situation, and they were super nice about sending me a replacement tent! ❤️Now we are all set for our next camping trip, and these guys made a loyal customer out of me! I already loved their product, but their service is also top notch!

Highly recommend it!
I’m super impressed with this tent. Used it with the additional footprint and it kept me dry during a week of rainy hunting. It sets up and breaks down easily. It’s fairly lightweight, and is tall enough to sit up and move around in.
