Not a transfer type
I admit that I should have read the instructions completely so I can't complain about the product, it was my mistake. I wanted the "outline" type decal in this style. I have ordered them in the past that looks exactly like this one. This one has a clear cover that stays on after application. It is a good product so I can't take any stars away for my mistake. Ordering the correct type from ebay.

Be patient and careful
The decal is great, but I cannot stress this enough, peel it off of the backing VERY carefully and V E R Y slow. Every single letter on all 3 rows wants to stick to the backing itself and not the transfer tape. I got mine on without issue regarding damage, but you must really take your time with it.
