Here's the problem with RGB: If you go buy the various big name stuff, it's not going to work together. You'll end up with five programs on your PC running and sending data back to those jerks for nothing more than a light show.Don't do that.These come from the same factories, are the same quality, and light up the same way. The difference is, they include EVERYTHING you need, and just plug in with no software at all. The remote and hardware take care of everything.There are no drivers, there is no data collection, there is no extra box to buy, you don't need to worry about whether or not Brand A works with Brand B... It doesn't really get any better, honestly.Don't just buy this to save money. It's not about cheaping out. This is about buying a superior product in every way, and just being done with it without anyone bothering you or causing problems. It just so happens that it's also cheaper.It comes in a nice box, with a spool holding all the lights, a great bag holding the accessories... It's packaged just as well as anything you'll find, and it comes with every darn adapter you could think of. Just buy it.

Ive had these installed in my pc for about a week now, when they first arrived I hooked everything up and was immiedietly impressed by the brightness of the lights, i didnt have any issues with the adhesive, they all stayed exactly where i stuck them. I like to have a static color on my rgb (green specifically) after about 10 minutes it seems the lights just go to the auto mode cycling through all the different modes on there own, sometimes turning themselves off. I tried changing the sata cable it was hooked up to and put it on a new one, double checked to make sure everything was hooked up properly and same result. overall its not a bad product, just sucks i cant set it to one color and leave it there. the remote works fine as i can change it back to the color of my choice and cycle the brightness and different modes, its just annoying that i have to change it back everytime it changes

When I first hooked these up I couldn't get the remote to work. I tried to pair it multiple times and was about to give up when I figured I'd try changing the battery. The battery that shipped in the remote wasn't the same model of coin battery as the remote called for. I luckily had the correct battery laying around and when I popped it in it worked.The supplied adhesive backing doesn't stick to my metal case. I ended up using a combo of velcro and zip ties.That all being said, I didn't decide to return these. They are fine. I like the SATA power option and 4 sections of led strips work well. I have a full sized case and there is plenty of cable to put the led strips anywhere I'd like.Seems like a get what you pay for situation.

Do not waste your money on this buy anything else from anyone else! Garbage product they must not have any quality control and shipped out defective remotes! 0 stars! Waste of my time now I have to remove this garbage from my PC after a lot of hard work!

I assembled the kit how i wanted to install it in the pc and plugged it back on to make sure it works before using the adhesive to stick it down. Product only got 2 stars because i like the sata powered option since my mb's pinouts our strange and unforgiving, and 2 it had an RF remote that came with it and an rgb controller for that remote right between the sata power and the led strips. Lights lit up as soon as i turned on my pc but they will only stay green... not my favorite color. I cannot get them to change, turn off, or anything on the remote. The remote lights up when i press any button so there is a battery. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE GREEN... STAY THE TRUCK AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. Hope this helps :)

Very easy to install and use. The only thing I would like to see, offer magnetic straps instead of tape. Very bright LEDs, the remote is very easy to use, and gives my PC a nice visuals.

I used this for lighting under my computer desk and and hutch, and I love the results. Fairly easy to apply and understand - it was not a difficult install. The remote actually works, and there are plenty of programs built in for anyone to pass the time with. This kit would just as easily be installed in a computer - they used 3m sticky tape that seems to hold well. My only wish would be a computer rgb connector so we could use software (along with the rest of the system). But for the money - this is bang on.

They're fairly bright, not much dynamic movement or colour action, but the real deal breaker is that the change at random from their set colour or setting to random colour blinking, or just another colour. Not consistent and I hear a high pitched electrical squeal when it's plugged in. No thanks.
