This works exactly in the salon! I was told to use this to upkeep my roots at home by my stylist as this is the exact dye she uses. It is great! For those looking for a dark brown color, this comes out black at first and eventually turns into a dark brown (in the sun; in the shade it appears darker). Like all dye, just be careful not to get this one your skin. Overall, recommend 100%!

My wife and I wondered what made coloring her hair so expensive. And the answer is, there is no reason we found that justified it. I'm a tradesman with many skills that involve building and installing product, systems, and homes. So I offered to color my wife's hair using this product. After all, the cost was extremely low when compared to one visit to the salon. We got more than one treatment (can't remember exact) from a single purchase. At any rate, using rubber gloves and a bowl with hand tool designed for this application, I was and continue to be successful with coloring my wife's hair within 20 minutes. She lets it work itself in for about 1 to 1.5 hours before taking a shower. This product is reliable, easy to prepare, and apply. But most importantly, anyone can color hair within 20 minutes saving hundreds of $$$$ while saving you the hassle of driving to the salon, waiting, getting the job done, paying $$$ for the service, and driving home. And, my wife thinks I'm the greatest husband around so the hero worship is not bad either lol.

The color is great. I am Asian; I want lighter color for summer so I mixed 2 part of medium brown with 1 part of light brown, it looks great. Definitely buy it again.

Color is good but with using 20% developer it is a bit drying. Probably will still use as the long lasting color and deep hues are worth the extra work of deep conditioning.

Please don't make the same mistake I did thinking thsi would be a Medium Brown, I've got Olive skin and wanted to lighten my Dark Brown hair. Though the best permanent hair color I've found, this turned out to be very Dark Brown almost Black. I later learned, $3000 later that the higher the hair color number the lighter the color. It's one of the few permanent hair colors you can buy online that truly covers the gray and won't damage your hair. I also love their Bonacure hair care line.

I read a prior review of this product, so was prepared for my dark brown hair to stay dark brown. It came out beautiful! The color is lustrous and rich. This is the best permanent hair color I have ever used. My hair is not dry at all, and the color is multi-dimensional. I have already bought more tubes (I originally bought 4) so I don't run out. So, if you have medium to dark brown hair, and want to keep it that color, this is the one you want. Also, the vendor had the product to me very quickly, and packaged very well, so I would defintely order from this company and plan to give them a high rating.

I’m allergic to most of the colours and I was thinking to stop colouring my greys but then I found this and loving this product can’t thank you enough.

The colour is fantastic and a true medium brown. It applies nicely and lasts over greys for weeks. I used a sensitive skin developer and worked perfect.
