Flawless Glow
This I recently tried a light full-coverage foundation that has completely transformed my makeup routine. This foundation strikes the perfect balance between providing excellent coverage while feeling weightless on the skin, making it a game-changer for those looking for a natural yet flawless complexion. The texture of this foundation is incredibly lightweight, almost like a second skin. Despite its full coverage capabilities, it feels breathable and comfortable throughout the day, making it ideal for all-day wear. The formula blends seamlessly into the skin, evening out imperfections and creating a smooth, radiant finish without looking or feeling heavy. What sets this foundation apart is its impressive coverage. With just a small amount, it effectively conceals blemishes, redness, and uneven skin tone, providing a flawless canvas for the rest of my makeup. The finish is natural-looking and radiant, giving my skin a healthy glow without appearing cakey or overdone. Moreover, this foundation is long-lasting and stays put for hours without the need for frequent touch-ups. Its buildable coverage allows me to customize the level of coverage according to my preferences, whether I need a light veil for everyday wear or a more polished look for special occasions. Overall, I highly recommend this lightweight full-coverage foundation to anyone seeking a natural yet flawless complexion. With its lightweight feel, excellent coverage, and long-lasting formula, it has quickly become a staple in my makeup collection. Say goodbye to heavy, mask-like foundations and embrace a radiant, flawless glow with this foundation that provides the best of both worlds – coverage and comfort.

It is a keeper!
This is the classic foundation that is not in stores anymore, and it is the best one! It covers without being heavy and your face will have a dewy look.

Works well for me! (I'm dark for an East-Asian
FYI: this is the same review I wrote for the powder; I use both. I'm darker than the typical East-Asian (but not as dark as typical South-East Asians or Pacific Islanders). I can't remember exactly which, but I used to use a shade from the either the Ceramic or Neutral line - it seemed to be the correct level of darkness (any darker would have been too dark but lighter would have been too light!) but it still wasn't working well for me. So I switched to the Warm line and that worked out a lot better. I definitely have a bit of a yellow undertone - even more than some of my other Asian friends - maybe that's why warm works well for me? I finally settled on W6-Sun Beige which works just great. I've also put this shade on a couple Latina friends and it matched their skin tone pretty perfectly too (they are somewhat light-skinned for Latinas). I use the liquid as a base and the powder over it. The liquid is really good for coverage and the powder gives it a nice matte look (I tend to be oily). SOMETIMES (like in the winter when I get lighter), I'll use W5-Sand Beige powder over a W6-Sun Beige liquid. But I live in California where there isn't often a shortage of sun. So for the most part, W6 works fine for me. I used to have a lot of acne (Now I have only about 1-2 at any given time), my cheeks have a lot of red spots from the acne marks. It works pretty well in covering it up while still looking pretty natural (there are other foundations out there that are much better at coverage but those are also much more obvious - those are better for stage makeup/models etc). But I have oily skin, so if I touch my face a lot, then yeah, eventually it wears off. It looks pretty good for about 4-6 hours. But I think if you're not oily or if you're really good about not touching your face, it can look good for a lot longer. For example, on a weekend, I might be home all day, and then put on makeup at night if a friend wants to grab a quick snack/drink, and then I come home and SOMETIMES I fall asleep without washing my makeup off (I know, that's the worst! Especially since I'm acne prone!!!!) and in the morning my makeup still looks amazing cause nothing has touched my face all night (I don't move much when I sleep and I always sleep on my back). Hope this info helps!

Great at first, but...
At first, I believed this product to be a savior. Finally, a foundation as white as I am! I wore it all day with no problems, at least that I noticed. After a couple of months I did begin to notice a problem. Maybe it is just my skin, but this stuff doesn't do a great job of staying on your face. I apply it and it looks flawless for the majority of the day, but a few hours before I am able to get home and take it off it just bubbles on my face and if I touch my cheek with my finger a huge chunk of it will come off. The formula is very thick, so I only use a dab of it over my entire face, which I really liked at first because I know the little tube I got will last a while. However, the thickness has become a problem because it won't stay on my face. It makes my face feel heavy, oily, and caked up. This problem can be fixed a bit with some powder, which was also hard to find because I'm so white haha, but once I found a good powder the caked up feeling and midday chunks that come off on my fingers lessened. That is really the only problem I have with it, however. PROS ------------ -Has a good variety of colors -Affordable -Thick formula forces the little bottle to last a while CONS -------- -Doesn't blend properly into your skin (which is why it cakes up and rubs off so easily after wearing it several hours, can be fixed with powder) Overall, I recommend it. I will probably shop around some more for another, but so far this has been one of the better of my experiments just because of the color.

Porcelain: Lovely Coverage for Very Fair Skin
I have very fair skin, on the verge of pure white. Almost all liquid foundations are a bit too dark for me, and leave an uneven 'shadowey' appearance between my face and neck. I do not apply foundation to my entire face- rather just my 'problem areas'- so I needed something that truely matched my skin tone. I had tried many many make-ups throughout my high school years. Most did not match my skin, or made me break out terribly. But that all changed when I found L'Oreal True Match Porcelain foundation. This liquid foundation comes in a small glass bottle. One bottle usually lasts me about 3 to 4 months- using it almost every day. The cap screws on, which I like (other caps snap on or open and can be squeezed out). This one works well for me. I put my finger over the opening, tip it upside down quickly, and then have just enough foundation on my finger to cover my entire face. To apply this foundation I use a brush (yep- a brush for liquid foundation). I've found it gives me more of an airbrushed appearance and the light bristles help blend this make-up flawlessly. The make-up is thick enough to easily cover my blemishes, but thin enough to not feel cakey or heavy on my face. It stays nicely applied throughout the entire day. It doesn't get oily- or even worse dry and crack (I hate when other foundations do that). It works perfectly with my oily skin. And surprisingly, it doesn't make me break out. I'll admit I have a bit of an acne problem, and it's very hard for me to find foundations that don't make it worse. But L'Oreal's liquid make-up has never made me break out. In fact it helps dry my oily skin- which I've noticed has prevented break-outs over time. The shade of this foundation is very light- hence it's "Porcelain" title. I've been told I have 'milky white skin', just to give other's an idea of how truly white this is. Some people have even questioned whether or not I was albino (I am not). But this make-up matches me flawlessly. It blends in easily with my skin and leaves me feeling confident all day long. It covers my blemishes without completely caking my face. It feels airy, not heavy on my skin. And it lasts all day long without any problems. Overall I'm very pleased with this foundation- and I think it will be a part of my cosmetic ruitine for the rest of my life.

5 Stars!
Love love love this!! As a makeup fan, I've tried many brands. By accident, I discovered this. I had to order more. Amazon it was. Alas. I am here to tell you that this is great!! It leaves the skin feeling amazing. It's very lightweight. Leaves a nice coating. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable option that is also really nice and feels very expensive.

I tried the Lumi line and while I liked the feel and the fact that it left me ...
Background: I have combination skin - very dry on my cheeks and smile lines / oily between my brow. I tried the Lumi line and while I liked the feel and the fact that it left me with a nice dewy finish and hydrated skin I did not like that it broke me out. The neutral and cool tones didn't but warm tones ... -shiver. Total break outs. I thought maybe it was something with the Lumi finish and the warm undertone ingredients so I wanted to try the TrueMatch ones and see if it would work out better. I went for the W5 since that's what I work in the Lumi one, however it was just a smidgen too dark so I figured I'd go down 1/2 a step and get W4.5. Unfortunately this did not work. I should have looked at the L'oreal website first. Their .5 anything is generally BRIGHTER not necessarily lighter. The W4.5 was very orangey. Check out their website and you'll see what I mean. The day I wore the foundation out it was 20 degrees and windy. It completely cracked all over my smile lines and left patches on my cheeks. I had to wipe it off with a tissue it looked so bad. This would be better for warmer weather.
