Great product and service

The media could not be loaded. It was very east to install. The adhesion is very good. I have it so that it drags across the carpet when closing, so that it can keep as much sound out as possible. No signs of it coming off the door, and noticeably reduces the noise.

I installed this as an air block on the door between my air-conditioned workshop and my un-air-conditioned garage. It is a vinyl strip with a tripled edge to fit more tightly across any variation in the door's threshold. I could have installed a weatherstripped threshold instead, but that would have impacted moving stuff in and out of my workshop so this was the better solution. I did add a thin threshold to my door opening for the sweep to close against when the door is closed. I did that because after checking clearances, I determined that due to slab variations the sweep would drag too much when the door was opened. Basically, the idea was for the sweep to only engages the threshold, not the slab when the door is opened/closed.The sweep comes as a roll-up, with the usual peel-off strip for exposing the adhesive used to hold it in place. You just use scissors to cut the sweep to fit. Be sure to clean off the bottom face of the door thoroughly or the adhesive might fail. My door has a slight grain pattern, but that did not affect adhesion. You have to be careful in placing the sweep at the desired height since the adhesive grabs and you don't want to pull it off for repositioning since that might degrade the adhesive. I followed the suggestion to let the adhesive set for 24 hours before using the door. As it turned out, my sweep does scrape the slab at one point as the door is opened but not with enough pressure to risk pulling the sweep loose, something justifying the addition of the thin threshold. Color is a near match for my door and the only air coming past the sweep when the door is closed is the small amount leaking past the corners where there is no air block, something I will deal with using weather stripping. This is a nice solution for what I used it for. Being vinyl I expect it to last indefinitely.

Works great. Follow instructions. Warm clean and warm surface before application. Works well vertically, also.

Easy enough to install but the adhesive is lacking! On my first one, the adhesive was missing from 1/3 of the roll. Seller was responsive and helpful - that is the only reason for the 3 stars. Replacement roll was sent to me and it is better, but even after following the instructions, parts are bubbling away from the door and it is irritating.
