Though the height of the seat is adjustable, this is a desk chair with fairly low-rise accommodation, so if you're gifted with an unusually long torso and favour a high back and elevated arm rests, this may not be for you. For me, though, this chair wins for it's large and thick seat cushion, which is very comfortable, it's firm lower back support, and its price. Why people spend £1,000+ on an office chair is beyond me when you can get a perfectly good chair like this for only £40. Constructing the chair is a straightforward task and build quality is perfectly satisfactory. A good buy. Goodbye!

For the money it is pretty good and I bought it as I could get it next day. My old chair was worn through, with the gas cylinder finally pegging out at the weekend and leaving me sitting close to the floor so I needed a quick replacement but knew I would be taking a chance when buying simply from the photos. First off, it is comfortable and the back support is actually good. It is lightweight and certainly less sturdy than the chair it replaced, but I don't feel that I am about to fall over off it it whenever I move, and I am carrying a few pounds more than my doctor recommends! The arm rests are lower than my previous chair, too low for an adults arms to rest naturally, and I have learnt very quickly not to lean like I used to as there is nothing there to provide support! The mesh back, the first time I have had one like that, is surprisingly good in this weather. It might be different in winter, but I don't see this as a long term chair, it just being a convenient gap filler while I go out and physically try chairs - which is really the only way to determine whether it will do the job day in and day out. The up and down movement is smooth as is the lean back, although I locked that off as I prefer to sit upright. It is easy enough to put together with everything supplied, including the allen key, and it took about 15 minutes. I got it on a deal for a little over £37. For that money I can't complain, and it will probably do most people who just need to sit a computer for a short time each day. If you are at a computer/desk 8+ hours a day, like I am, and don't need anything in a rush, I'd say save your money and suggest actually trying chairs out and buying one that will likely last a few years and will have a warranty to match. They are a different price bracket though, so you want to get it right. I've knocked stars off for the low arm rests

To be honest for the price I was expecting much worse, I bought this chair after my much used £280 Executive chair Failed to hold my enormous "rump" end anymore, So scoured amazon like a junkie needing a fix, to find me the best suited cheap chair replacement "Asap" Glad to report Said chair replacement was found, Reasonably priced and fair reviews I parted with my money faster than a crack heads gyro. 2 days later my chair was delivered by what can only be described as a Lightning fast starship enterprise delivery service with Text notification on expected arrival on my Porch. Anxiously waiting for my chair I was finally greeted by a handsome young chap who kindly even lifted the semi-heavy package into my front lounge. Stellar service. Couldn't get more service than at happy hour in the local red-light district. Frantically I opened the parcel to be greeted by that fresh smell of Chinese plastic, I unpacked everything and guestimated where all the pieces went and laid out ready for assembly, And thankfully it went together faster than a cheap doner kebab, My only gripe with the package was the basic cheese metal Allen key supplied, Would highly advise getting hold of a longer one, as the supplied one will do the job but leverage is not ideal and slips out the bolt without much effort, Fair Dinkum warning. But alas, in no time the chair was Erected without any dramas to report, Build quality is above average for a chair of this price range, Seating is rather good with Ample padding, and Sturdy enough that I don't feel the slightest move will launch me on the floor sideways. And has Ample space to receive even above averagely wide loads without being rump pinched by the armrests. Overall my whole experience was Effortless and surprising, For the same money can do far worse. Overly happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend.

It came quickly once ordered. The price through the voucher deal was around £51.00 A bit fiddly to assemble, but once all fitted in seems sturdy enough. The mesh back is fine, the castors all roll around well and the seat is well-balanced overall. The seat padding is adequate and comfy (from new that is...not sure what it will be like in a few month's time though after rigorous use). The armrests don't come high enough, although the construction and design are good and will not break anytime soon. So they went for lower armrests to aid solidity but sacrificed height for practical use. If you want an affordable chair, this is worth a look but if you want overall adjustment features for a chair such as an arm height adjustment etc, then this chair is not IT.

Comfy seat and good back support along with good chair height options. The arms are a little too low for me to actually rest my arms on and they're not adjustable! Possibly may have been better to get one without arms!

Really quick and easy to assemble. Looks great. I would have liked one if the wheels to lock but it does glide beautifully. It took me on my own 30 minutes to assemble
