My initial installation proved to be a total disaster. The outer cover would not connect to the mounting plate. I was really disappointed and was ready to send these back when I happened to catch a review that mentioned that the mounting plate was inserted backward within the cover for packaging purposes and it needed to be turned around when installing it. I went back and reversed the mounting plate and it worked like a charm. Only problems I had were not related to the product - it was because of uneven surface of the wall it was going on. Even with that, I was able to make adjustments, untighten the actual switches to help make everything a little more flush and easier for the cover plate to snap on. These look great, professional, and really finish off the room. Only minor complaint is that the plastic has a slightly different shade of white compared to my existing rocker panel switches.

Inexpensive compared to Lutron and others, but shows. I ordered the 5-pack. The concept (screw-less switch plate is good and makes for a nice clean aesthetic) but the execution is not perfect. From the front, it looks okay, but the back is not plush to the wall, and can be seen from the top. I thought it was just one faulty one out of the 5, but I tried two more and it's the same result. (See photos). I have tried other brands and never had this problem. [Revised: While I tried several of them on the same wall, with the same results, I decided to try them on a different wall and it's definitely more plush, so the problem seems to have been the wire box on that particular wall. So I'm adjusting my rating to 4 stars, simply because it's such a great deal. Still not perfect, but a great deal nonetheless.]

Nice streamlined plates, match the white Bestten switches.

As you can see from my pictures, there is a wrong way and a right way to install these. The first one (from above) shows the inside plate installed wrong. The one taken from the top corner is how it should be correctly but still wasn't flush. I had to adjust the switches and drywall around them to get it to fit flush. But then there is a gap between the switch and faceplate. It took some adjustments of the screws on the switches to get this installed correctly. I included another picture of another plate with two other smart switches. This went in a bit easier.Prying the cover off, you think you're going to break it but it is sturdy enough that I could get them to pop off with no breakage. Just use all the slots and wiggle it a bit on each one and not just one.I would recommend these if this is the look you are going for. You'll have to adjust the seating of the switches to get this to look good and that's just part of the job isn't it? Depends on much your OCD can handle.

The media could not be loaded.  The plate is nice and shiny and matches my walls but it doesn’t fit properly with the switches or receptacles. I bought bestten receptacles thinking that same company makes it it must fit together but still same. Im very disappointed. I suggest not buying this product unless they update the design to be an standard product.

The way these Mount makes them very difficult to lay flat against the wall with different devices, like a humidity switch. And other brands switches like Leviton are to far back to be flush with the face plates

I had recently bought single ones with plates but had no double plates and wasn't sure if it was worth the effort/time; very glad I tried it. One con, I would say that its a little expensive for its price.Suggestion (stating the obvious), when buying dimensions play a key role make sure to purchase the right one/kind.

They were simple to install, look 100% better than the screw type. Nice need more once I start my Reno.
