This is for an Asus that came with a C charger. I purchased it because it also had a regular charging plugin so as to free up the USB-C port so not to try to use a hub as they aren't always reliable. I tried a chat with an ASUS tech and after a back and forth the tech said ASUS does not recommend the power through the plugin port and didn't sell one. So, after a little research I found this one and it works perfectly. I figured they wouldn't put the power plugin on the laptop unless there was a way to use it. I don't think companies put things on stuff unless there is a way to utilize it.

Works perfectly. The only difference from the original cord that came with my laptop is the orientation of the plug. I do wish it was oriented similarly as it now blocks the other electric sockets, but considering my laptop can now be charged again after my lovely cat chewing through the last cord, I'm pleased.

My ASUS UX31A charges 2 days and only 30% to 40%. Even I have A/C plugged in when battery goes to 0 or low computer shut down randomly. A/C charger has blinking orange color with once a while blinking green color. Tried thermal paste (thought overheat), same issue. Bought 4 new batteries, each $45, charge very slow and only 35%. Can not even stay up long enough for windows update. Spend $50 to buy from ASUS contractor the USB stick for Windows 8 recovery since I deleted the recovery partition. Mad about to throw my laptop to garbage dump. Give a final shot to buy this $22 charger. Bingo ! charge to 100% in 3 hours. Saved my laptop ! Cord is 5 feet long. The only thing to complain is charger has no light indicator like original to tell you it is charging. Anyway, you can check power after charging 1 hour to see the percentage. It more durable than the factory charger that actually came with the chromebook. I can’t be disappointed with the cord length - I knew how long it was when I ordered it, and it’s a little bulkier than a travel size adapter but it works, it’s durable, and worth the money. Delivery was super fast. Got here a couple days early.

I had left my Asus laptop power adapter overseas and there was no getting it back. The cord arrived quickly and thankfully it works meaning it both charges the batter and powers the computer when plugged in. On the downside like all after-market items it is clearly cheaply made in materials and the prong does not snuggly fit the Asus like the original did. Price is probably $10 too high but that was my choice to purchase. Overall, it did save the day and I will continue to use it.

Good product

My old power cord was not working right, so this one has kept it going. My Asus laptop is more than 3 1/2 years old now, so I wasn't sure this would be compatible, but it fits perfectly and works well. Wish the cord was slightly longer, but can always use extension.

I purchased this in February 2022. It was compatible with my Asus laptop.8 months later in October of the same year, it has stopped working.Seems i will have to find another replacement charger.
