IWMH Standing Office Stool, Ergonomic Wobble Stool, Office Stool, Adjusting height and swivels 360° working seat (Black)

After having back problems my physio recommended that I get a sitting stool to use as an alternative to a chair or standing at my desk. I saw this one and ordered it to try out. It is very good and I can adjust the height to match the desk as I lower and raise it. Very comfortable and easy to use.

I puchased this as I was advised I needed a perching stool due to a prolapsed disc. My job is sedentary and too much sitting was also causing problems with my hips. I looked at a lot of perching stools and found the reviews to be very mixed, but so far I love it! It was easy to put together with the instructions provided and also came well packaged. My husband had to help me with highering and lowering the stool as I couldn't figure this out initially. You have to make sure you are perching on it before pulling the handle to adjust the height. Once I knew this, I had no problem at all. The base is weighty (which of course it needs to be), so when perching I don't feel like I'm going to fall. I have used in my home office on carpeted flooring. I know some reviews said the seat isn't comfortable, but personally I think it is really well padded and extremely comfortable. I just make sure it is in the right position and perch away! I've not used at my standing workstation as yet, but have used when doing my hair and not once have I felt uncomfortable. I'm really interested to see if it helps my hips and back when using on a daily basis, but so far I'm happy with my purchase.

This stool is actually not that bad! For the price too, it was definitely worth the purchase. My only con is after an hour or so, my bum does start to go a little numb. But on the coin side this is good, because it forces me to get up and stretch my legs a little. As I’m avoiding sitting down for too long, due to the whole corona and working from home. So yes, I’d definitely recommend if you want to still stay active whilst sitting down. You can also swivel around. And the stool is very sturdy! My last note would be, if you do have a big buttocks, this may be a little uncomfortable as the seating is a little small for an “average size buttocks”.

This thing is dangerous! There is no grip on the base, so when I used it on a wood floor it slipped out from under me, send me to the floor with lotta force and a lotta pain, I could have broken a hip. It looks good, I love the seat and it's shape, it's comfy to perch on but as soon as I lean my weight against it.. swoosh.. out from behind me it flew. I'm not that heavy either about 12 stone. I'm to scared to use it now and they are going to charge me to return it! Avoid

I'm an average height guy, 11 stone, not overweight. This seat is used with a standing desk. The blue colour is nice, as is the seat material. It's ok to perch on or lean against - the base is heavy and stable and doesn't slip, feels very secure and solid on carpet and on lino. It allows easy movement to keep your joints supple. Height adjust is fine - it goes higher than I really need so that's ok. Adjustment is very smooth and simple. Easily stored out of the way under the desk when not in use. However, the seat I find quite uncomfortable, even with an additional cushion. Its circular with moulded cutouts in the plastic base for your legs but I find they're not cut back deep enough and actually dig into my thighs. Also the padding isn't really thick enough or firm enough and I can feel the lift mechanism, which gets uncomfortable. Having a foot rest 4" to 6" helps. All in all mildly disappointed. I may just try hacking the seat and adding more padding - I have the expertise to do that. For the price, returning it is probably more bother than it's worth. Almost there, but not quite.

Perfect product to simulate sitting on an exercise ball in an office environment. Easy to assemble, heavy and robust design.

So this is neither the most expensive or the cheapest ergonomic balance stool on the market but crucially it does precisely what it advertises. I work from home, I have an adjustable standing desk and I needed something to assist and engage my core stabilisation as well as be smart, functional and easy enough to adjust to do a full days work (circa 12 hours). This stool arrived on time, super easy to assemble and I have not looked back. I throughly recommend the product and it has really helped me be more functionally mobile in the office, helped my neck and back pain and it’s quirky and fits my room well. 100% recommendation from me

Great little stool that helps with lower back pain. Does not drop as low as a chair goes but my guess is ,that’s not quite what you want from this anyway. Ergo shape fits your nether regions well and the ball base is nice and sturdy. Has some heft to it if you are going to move it around a lot.

Inmiddels heb ik hem 2 jaar ofzo. Hij begint nu wat minder soepel te gaan als ik aan het stripje trek. Soms hangt hij vast en moet ik extra kracht zetten.
