I have given this 5 stars, only because there isn't an option for 4.5 stars. I'll explain. I originally purchased the TAYOGO headphones - absolutely useless but around the same price and user reviews. Hopeless unit and waste of time and money. I then found this little bad boy. From reading the reviews, I was more concerned about the sound quality than the firmware update issues. Opened the package, everything is laid out in an organised manner. Bear in mind this is a cheap little device, so the instruction manual's translations are a bit off, but nothing the average person couldn't put together via context. Adding music to it was really super easy, plug it in, immediately recognised by my computer, transferred 20 files in less than a minute. As soon as I started playing the music, I was a bit concerned about the volume level as it was so low. There is no blatant Volume Up/Volume Down button, and the instructions give very vague guides on how to adjust the volume. When music is playing, wait for the screen light to turn off. Then you can adjust the volume by pressing the M button to increase, and the Return/V button to decrease. Getting the rubber ear inserts off, super easy. Getting the other one's on... kill me now. It's a bit fiddly, my advice, take some care when holding the headphone so as not to tear the cable, and just really give it some to get the other pieces on there. But, we are talking about waterproof headphones, it's got to be tight so water doesn't get into the wrong places. Whilst some have complained about the sound quality - I found it quite banging for a cheap little waterproof mp3/headphone combo. First track I put on was DJ Zinc Feat. Ms Dynamite - Wile Out, and I Was super impressed with the quality of the bass. Clipped it onto my goggles and set off for my swim, and wow. Just frigging wow. I don't use a swim cap and I thought maybe I should to stop water from getting in my ears and affecting the sound quality, but with a bit of play they stayed in super easily and the sound quality was bang bang. Being underwater and listening to music while swimming is a whole new level of workout for me. It is, however a super weird feeling. Bobbing your head along to tunes while you're swimming is weird and really throws you off your game! But once you get the hang of it IT'S AMAZING. All in all, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck with this little unit, easy to use, easy to charge, works straight out of the box and helps you go that little bit longer with your aquatic workouts.

A good little bit of kit, audio quality is sound and has more than enough storage to download a whole library of audiobooks plus music to last you days. Battery is long lasting, you can just press play, put your headphones in and your set until you want to turn it off. While the hard ware is good the system could do with a bit of an upgrade, one problem being that you can't make additional playlists to the pre-set three and you can't rename them from their original and similar names. There is a way to get around this however, when uploading your downloaded music to your mp3 player you sort them into files named as your playlist names then add your music to your respective playlist folders. To find these playlists, instead of selecting the music menu from the main menu, select the folder view menu then you can select your playlists from there. This allows you to have as many different playlists as you like plus sorting the music is far easier. While I do not use the player underwater so I can't vouch for that, I have defiantly put it through its paces and dragged it along with me on hikes through heavy rain, mud, mist, dust and sand. It has been battered, dropped and dragged about and still is in good nick. The one thing I would suggest though for future iterations is something to plug the audio jack while not in use to prevent any moisture or dirt getting in while not in use. All in all, a reliable bit of kit, but you have to be creative with sorting out your files. Hope this helps.

Easy to load tunes. Waterproof and reliable. I have used it almost every day on 4 beach holidays making it even more relaxing by the pool.

The plus is that it has a display scree- ideal for audiobooks which I listen to rather than music. The negative - I have bought 2 of these now. The first lasted 18 months across Covid, so it was intermittently used. Then the volume adjustment failed to work. The second has lasted 9 months, although there have been long gaps in my usage. Again the volume adjustment has failed and it is stuck on 31 (max) - deafening (literally). With no way to complain and return the product as not fit for purpose - it should have lasted a year of moderate, intermittent usage, I have no alternative but to buy yet another replacement. I wish there were a decent alternative

Impressed so far. Will need to see how the battery does over a period of time and report back then. But for now it is a great product for any swimmers out there and it seems to handle the heat in both the sauna and the steam room.

When it works , it’s great! I’ve owned 3 of these MP3 players now, the first lasted 7 months which for a swim MP3 I could live with as I swim lengths A couple of times a week . Eventually water ingress will happen. So I purchased another in Feb ‘25 & it stopped outputting sound to one earpiece after a few months , I bought new headphones just in case they were the problem but they weren’t. Eventually I bought another on May ‘25 & now Oct ‘25 the same fault has occurred. A bad batch? Different manufacturing process? Who knows , but the process to return these is so convoluted I’ve given up & will buy another brand, a shame really as it’s a good little unit !

Llevo 5 meses usandolos en la piscina, 5 veces a la semana por 1.5 h y el único problema son los audífonos. Llevo 2 pares que se echan a perder, a pesar de enjuagarlos con agua limpia después de cada uso. Fuera de eso, el producto es maravilloso.

Questa è la terza volta che li uso in piscina e li trovo molto comodi. Lo pinzo dietro la testa agganciandoli agli occhialini e non mi accorgo di averlo. I tappi sono perfettamente isolanti e la musica si sente abbastanza bene. Quando la testa è sotto acqua,ovviamente, risulta un po' attutito ma sono oggetti che servono per distrarre dalla monotonia delle vasche e quindi, chi pretende di avere un sound da studio di incisioni in cuffia, è un povero illuso e probabilmente non nuota nemmeno. Il packaging dell'oggetto è davvero carino ed anche i materiali di cui è fatto sembrano di buona qualità. All'interno trovate, oltre ad altri tappi e vari cavi, anche un piccolo libretto delle istruzioni anche in italiano. PS: anche il lettore è dotato di lingua italiana. Effettivamente, come già qualcuno faceva notare, è un pochino lento nel trasferimento degli MP3 dal PC ma bisogna capire che il cavo che si usa è un USB che termina in Jack per le cuffie e che quindi non è studiato per quello. Consiglierei, per il prossimo modello, una ricarica wireless o almeno una connessione Bluetooth o wifi. Al di là di tutto sono super soddisfatto, anche del prezzo.

Love it. It's Very good, completely waterproof, and the display on it is very important and that's what's lacking from other waterproof mp3 players. You can have folders and switch from one to the other with mp3s on each folder. I swim everyday and use it. I have give through numerous headphones that plug in, but those are not expensive. Transferring mp3s on to it is ready, just plugs into the USB and appears as a drive in the computer. I've had it over a year. I just got 2 more so in case it stops working, I have other ones because they were not available for a long time. Now I have backup for a long time.

Finally! After all the searching, reading and asking - I found it. This mp3 player really works in water. You fasten it was a sturdy clip on your bra, trunk, cap or goggle lining and off you go! I use it for swim training in pool for approx. 1,5h sessions currently and it works like a charm. Headphone plugs come in different sizes so you can adapt to your ears. I tend charge it for an hour or so, make sure to plug the cable in properly before going into the water and thoroughly dry it after each session before plugging the headphones in again or charging it. Uploading the mp3's is super easy, just drag n drop. I will report back here if anything happens, but so far, this actually works 💯🌊

Je l'utilise uniquement pour aller à la piscine, le son est excellent. Petit inconvénient le fil pour les écouteurs sont un peu courts, j'ai du acheté d'autres écouteurs étanches pour la piscine.
