Klipsch AW-4i In-Ear Headphones

Klipsch AW-4i In-Ear Headphones This is the 4th Klipsch AW-4i In-Ear Headphones I have owned. I use them for 6 to 8 hours every night and have for years.I have severe tinnitus and must wear in-ear headphones to play white noise or music every night to mask out the annoying tone of the tinnitus. These are perfect for that use as well as for listening to music or an audiobook any other time. The cord from the plugin to the ear buds is longer than normal which some people might not like but is great for me as I can lay my iPhone on the night stand and have the cord easily reach my ears. When I walk I can put my phone in my shorts pocket and still easily reach my ears. I have large hands and the extra large controller is one of the best features of this product—I can easily find it and adjust volume up or down and turn music on or off and advance to the next song or start over easily. The large ocntroller makes answering phone calls very easy. The sound quality is top notch as well. Music is crystal clear and the bass is better than other ear buds I have tried. The angled buds easily fit into my ears and make getting R or L no hassle in the middle of the night. I highly recommend the Klipsch AW-4i In-Ear Headphones.

Good: Music is clear. Bass is ok as long as you have a good seal with the rubber tips. The are comfortable as well and I have fairly sensitive ears when it comes to earbuds. Bad: The volume up and down control is large and heavy. I understand the concept of them being perfect when wearing gloves and I agree. The problem is unless you have the cord clipped to some part of your clothing, the weight will pull the buds out of your ears. Their fix is sending a plastic clip with it. Easy to lose. Lost it after the second day. Also, this is suppose to be an "i", meaning it has full music control for Apple products. I have an iPhone 5C running iOS 9.2.1. All it does it volume up and down, which to me is not full music control. All previous earbuds I have used before have done the same thing without being "i" specific with an Apple chip in it. I am guessing that due to the iOS software updates, it no longer rewinds or fast forwards.

I have owned the Klipsch Image S4i for about six years and it sounded great. I wanted a second good set of earphones and so I bought this one with high expectations. I am not a musician, but I love my music (many genres) and have a critical ear for sound. The basics about these earphones are just about perfect. First and most importantly they sound great. It has good bass without having much too boom. The treble and mid frequencies are absolutely clear. You can listen to something with lots of hard hitting bass like Lady GaGa's "Poker Face" and still hear the trebel and mid-range quite clearly. The imaging (aparantly locations of the sounds) is quite clear which means that the phase response is very good. When properly inserted in the ears they seal out ambient sounds quite well and gives you the dynamic range to apreciate Chris Isaacks "Wicked Game" which has extreamly high dynamic range letting you hear the music very well and even a hint of the guitar pick's own sound and not just the cords. By the way the shape of my particular ear canal is such that I insert these upside down and run the wire up and over and behind my ears just as I found was best for the Klipsch Image S4i. Once you get used to the feel of the wire over and behind you ear, it actually stays in better that way. And for me due to my personal ear shape, it fits and seals better to my ear without excess pressure. The control works perfectly on my iPad and iPhone 6 (which are not the latest generation without the analog audio jack). The buttons are large enough that I can feel the shapes for the volume and control buttons. The only relatively minor negative is that the control assembly with the buttons seems ridiculously large - sort of like a giant button TV remote for the sight impaired. Fortunately it's not much heavier, just largish. Klipsch, If you are listening - you should have stayed with the control size of the Klipsch Image S4i. It makes it look like I must be half blind to need such big buttons. The sound is great, the wires are just the right length for my use, the control works, there is a range of silicone earpieces for various ear canal sizes, I think the control and buttons are a bit too large, but it's not heavy so there is no real problem there.

I didn't check to see if these were android compatible which. Um. Oops? The play/pause button works just fine with my Samsung Galaxy 8+ but the volume control keys do nothing. I am actually okay with this, as I bought this pair as a replacement for the same pair (But in orange) that I used to own that a cat had chewed up that were originally handed down to me. That orange pair lasted me three years, with no or minimal cord noise, and sound good enough that when replacing them I tried a few other less expensive pairs and then went back to this model. Thus far sound quality is excellent, and I hope these are just as rugged as my last pair.

This was my second set of these earbuds. The first set lasted about a year. I wore them daily and worked out with them regularly. Then the volume control stopped working and one of the earbuds started shorting out. I fugured maybe sweat got into the controls and messed it up. While not great, I did get a lot of use out of them. My second pair is only 8 months old and is starting to have the same problems. This set has been used a lot less and only a few times while working out. The rubber on the earbuds is also starting to come off. On the plus side the do sound really good for the money. I just wish they were a little more durable.

What I got, and therefore have used, is not what is pictured. The ones I received have an around the ear piece that just does not work for me. The only way I can hear clearly is if I hold it in place. If I hadn't already tried to make this work, I would return it. This was my second Klipsch order, as I lost the previous ones, and I am so disappointed. Loved the old ones, hate the new ones. As I stated before, the ones pictured here, are not the ones I received. These may work fine, if you in fact get these.

Very happy so far with the product. I have always had issues with earphones lasting and time will tell... but they seem very hardy and have the best chance of lasting the longest out of any pairs I have had.

Excelente audio, calidad Klipsh. Lo que no me gusto tanto fue la pastilla dónde van los controles y el micrófono, es algo grande, parece pieza gigante de lego y el micro es muy sensible a cualquier rose que tenga la pastilla con la ropa u otra superfiie, si estás en una llamada es demasiado molesto para las personas que te escuchan, intente ajustar el control del volumen del mismo pero aún así hace mucho ruido, tengo que sujetar a todo momento la pastilla cuando hablo para no ocasionar ruido.

Was soll ich da für Sterne geben. Eigentlich nutzlos. Denn, die Verkäufer sind in Ordnung und bemühen sich um ein "Montagsprodukt", wofür Sie absolut nichts können. Normal % Sterne Für die Verkäufer und Klipsch. War nie enttäuscht immer zufrieden. Klipsch würde ich trotzdem vielen empfehlen. Und ich hatte schon eine Menge In Ear
