Affordable substitute to more expensive headset mics
These headset mics work really well. They are a much more affordable substitute than Countryman or Shure mics. They sound good and about as durable, within reason.

Low-cost replacement option
I was skeptical about buying a low-cost head set microphone when name-brand options were 4-10x higher in price. However, this unit has functioned amazingly well for several months. It has a sensitive mic. The connector fits exactly as it should into the belt transmitter. The one downside is that the fit isn't quite snug. This unit is used by our minister at church. After speaking for a few minutes, the tip is down and a away from the front of his face. However, sound quality does not suffer -- it just looks 'weird'. He tries to fiddle with it during his sermon, however, it won't stay put and he just leaves it alone. This item is highly recommended as a standby spare to have on hand in case your main unit should fail on short notice. Also this could be an alternate unit for guest speakers as a 'throw-away' (e.g. in the age of COVID) -- as it is next to the person's mouth. 5 stars for this kind of usage. As an everyday use case, I'd give it 3-4 stars -- as the form and fit don't seem to hold up. Update 9/24 - 2 years later -- the unit is still working. The mic stem shows a slight kink which will motivate us to replace it soon; however there is no degradation in sound quality. Excellent value and durability has exceeded our expectation.

Light weight, no batteries required
I am an instructor at an industrial safety training company. Some of our classrooms are very large accommodating up to 125 students. We were issued head mounted microphones that were large and bulky and unidirectional, meaning that we had to almost be eating the mic for it to pick up our voice. I purchased one of these units with my own money (very reasonably priced) and I love it. It is very light weight and the mic pics up every word with it comfortably at the side of my face, not in front of my mouth; sound quality is also excellent. This mic can also be purchased with a different cord having a connector which is compatible with different transmitters, so I didn't have to replace any of our existing components. Our company just bought four more of these for each of our larger classrooms.

Well that was short lived....
I have used this literally 5 days and the cord is already producing feedback. It worked great at first, but now it makes a horrible static noise and I can feel the cord is super loose at the base of the plug in side. Would love a replacement! Ill even send this one back...

Buena relación calidad/precio

Very capable mic compared to high end ones.
I work in a large church and use the expensive mics for clergy. I buy these for kids events so it’s no problem if they get a little mistreated, but they sound so good that I use them for everything other than clergy. Time will tell on durability, but for the last couple of months they have been put to the test and passed with flying colors.

Short-term use. Long-term waste of money
We used it in one play. It worked ok. We went to use it in a second play and it was cutting in and out so badly, we could no longer use it. If you only need it briefly, it’ll work. It has no longevity however. I wish I had paid a little more for a better quality item.

for the price it is a great mic. Sounds as good as our expensive ones, and it is way more comfortable especially if you wear glasses.

I ordered 2 of these as extra mics for a theatre production we were putting on as I needed something affordable fast. Unfortunately when they got here, both mics were DOA. No sound whatsoever. That struck me as odd that both mics would be faulty so when I had time I opened up the connectors. Both mics were missing a bias resistor linking pins 2 and 3, so the mics weren't getting any 5V delivered to them. Once I added a 4.7k resistor between these pins (my other headsets were using between 2.2k and 10k so I tried a middle ground) they both started working immediately with Shure and Line6 beltpacks. They sound fine, nice and clear, and they're pretty low profile. Boom feels plenty stiff for a $35 mic. If you're up to roll the dice on whether you need to do a little bit of soldering or not, go for it. Good bang for buck, but it's a weird oversight to be missing a required part, even if it does only cost a few cents.
