This took several hours to put together, but it kept my 7 year old engaged for huge chunks of time and she loved following the directions on the app and being able to get a 360 degree view of each step by step.Once we got it together we switched over to the controls which was a little bumpy to get used to and it came apart after a big crash-landing, but because we had spent all that time assembling it, it was super easy to put the pieces back together, which gave my daughter excellent problem-solving skills as well as determination and confidence in running into problems.The kid loved learning to use the controls and make it move around on our tile floor with the wings flapping and the mouth opening up.The thing is rechargeable with a lithium battery, which is super convenient. And we haven't gotten to it, yet, but I love that there is a codable component and am excited to get learning how to code with my daughter. The multiple levels of building, then controlling, then coding is awesome and this was well worth the money. Something that will keep my kid engaged and interested on for extended periods of time and can keep being played with with lots of levels of learning.

While it took about 5 hours to construct (great project for snowstorms) all the instructions were clear and detailed pictures that made construction possible without frustration. A huge bonus if you are working with school age children to put it together. Excellent coding lessons included that made it possible for grandparents to code it. (YES!). Only downside is some disassembly required for charging and it can be somewhat delicate to handle.

This thing comes with over 600 pieces. It took me a whole day to put it together. Few piece matters the direction how you apply it. And it is not easy to tell. The guide in the app is great as you can see from different angles. My kids and I loved it after we put it together. That is the most important thing!

I got this for my 9 yr old who loved the CrunchLabs kits. He’s been building with minimal help for last 3 hours. I did not have a positive app experience- it didn’t allow me accept privacy policy and just told me to ensure I had notifications set-up.I like the fact the parts were numbered. I liked the way the app presented the build instructions. The pieces are of good quality. I think the fact my son is building largely on his own speaks to the quality of the design. I got another build kit as a gift for same kid at same time and we decided it wasn’t for a lazy Christmas morning. I will update if the final build doesn’t support my current opinion.

Bought this for my son for a fun build and code project only to find the software needed no longer supports this model and has not since December 2023. I Don't know why Amazon is still selling this thing at this point as there's no way to build it, no way to view instructions to build it and no way to program it due to everything being a part of an online app. This is a waste of money that I found only disappointed my child greatly as even diving deep into the net in the vain hopes of finding SOMETHING to help us atleast build it we found to our dismay nothing other than frustrated parents with the same problem.Do not buy this.

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson. His mother helped him put it together (he did most of it but got a couple pieces wrong). My grandson is a math wiz and needs to be challenged. He was so proud that he was able to put this together, how it works and that he and his mom began to learn coding!!!! Win Win for me!!! I was the best grandma in the world with this gift!!!!

I bought this dragon robot for my 10 year old son and he is so fascinated by it. This is my son's first robot in which you can build and program it while using online drive instructions. He loves coding it. Another great thing about this dragon is that it is not so big so I can place it on my sons dresser with no problem. I also like how my son is able to learn and think while coding it to do various thing such as moving its wings and breath fire. I would recommending buying this item.

My 13 year old grandson put this together and loved everything about it!
