We have the entire grouping of Black & Decker 20 volt hand tools and outdoor equipment. Drill, impact driver, circular saw, saws-all, LED flashlight, chainsaw, hedge shears, weed trimmer, blow, pole chainsaw. The 1.5 amp hour batteries that come with the tools work fine on the drills and flashlight, but this battery is a must have for the rest of the tools and outdoor equipment -gives many times the battery life than the 1.5 AH.

I bought this back in March of 2016 and 9 months later I really want another one. This gave my Black and Decker tools new life. As expected, my Matrix series drill and another B&D drill both last longer. They don't require huge amperage to get their work done, so the difference wasn't seen there. The HUGE improvement was on my B&D circular saw. So back in March, I was debating whether to buy a new system of interchangeable battery cordless power tools like DeWalt which cost a decent amount more but deliver more power. I decided to give this 4 amp battery a try and test it against the 2 amp batteries that came with. With the 2 amps, my circular saw didn't have enough power to cut through anything wider than 4 or 5 inches; instead, the blade would catch between the pressure of each side of the board I was cutting. The circular saw powers through using the 4 amp battery and I was able to build a 20 foot by 4 foot bridge across a creek in my yard - constructed mostly with 16 foot 2x16 boards. Battery is still going strong and no signs of decline that I can tell. I have two drills (one Matrix, one regular) and the circular saw. I want at least one more but would love to have one for each of them. I've settled that I don't need to shell out the extra cash for higher-end tools... I'm just a home DIYer and Black & Decker is fine for my purposes.

There’s not really too much to say. The battery charges fully, though it does take a while because of the capacity. It holds its capacity when not in use. And it delivers consistent power appropriate to the size. It’s definitely nice not swapping the batteries out as often

This is the size you need if you have more than a very tiny amount of work to do. Lasts long enough to get the job done, but I still always keep two of them, just in case. I am able to finish one job, put the battery on the charger, and complete another job with the second battery. I buy only Black and Decker batteries; no cheap copies for me.

It does the job. I wish it came with a charger. I've had my other ones for years. I had to replace one because my husband left it in the rain.

The battery came in what looked to be OEM Black&Decker plastic blister packaging. Appears to be the real deal and not a knock-off. Used it once so far. Runs my string trimmer longer than two of its original batteries. I ran out of yard before the battery ran out of juice! While it weighs more than the original battery, it does not make the trimmer any more difficult to use, as the battery weight is at the handle end. Prime Day deal was a significant price reduction from the usual price. Shipped quickly with Prime. Happy with the purchase overall.

I purchased this battery as it is larger than the one that came with the blower I purchased on an Amazon lightning deal. This now gives me the longevity that lets me blow off my driveway and small patio as well as the garage, driveway and patio of my Mom who lives across the street. The original battery only allowed me to take care of my home and had to be placed back on the charger before I could continue on to my Moms home. Now I can quickly take care of the job faster and move on to my next project. The battery does add additional weight to to the blower, but not so much that I feel it makes it harder to use and I am a female. I actually got this through a lightning as well and it would never have occured to me to make this purchase if I hadn't run across it. Time saver as well cutting down on my frustration at having to stop and start again because of low battery!

I love the power this battery has. I’ve been using 3 smaller batteries for my black and decker trimmer for the past 2 1/2 years and could never trim around the entire house without having to use them all 3. This one battery lasts all the way around the house and still has more to give. Now I can finally trim under the property fence and don’t have to hire someone with a gas trimmer to do it; my new battery has the power. My only regret is that I didn’t buy one sooner!
