Good mufflers for air compressor drain
These really quited down my air compressor tank drain solenoid. I designed a baffled box to make the tank drain nearly silent and give me a place to mount these mufflers outside where the condensate can be drained.

Worked great for my purpose
I'm using the exhaust to regulate the pressure for my fish room's central air system. By itself, it's very loud but stuffed with polyfill and wrapped with plumber tape it's only audible if you're standing within a foot of it. With it installed in the air loop, the pressure drops from 3+ (the gauge only goes to 3 psi) to a consistent 1.5.

They don't work!
These are NOT 1/8 in. NPT they are not tapered and the wrong thread!

Poorly made and threads are not standard
There are two problems with these. First, the threads are smaller than 1/8" NPT. You will need a lot of teflon tape or sealant to keep these in the threads. Second, breather tips are loose in the base so half the exhaust or breathing will be around the edge. I messed up one trying to make it work right so now I can't return them. Luckily they were cheap.
