These are water coconuts, not grown for meat
These are water coconuts, if your wanting meat these won’t have that. They are grown for the water, no meat. Very happy with quality of water, pricey but worth it if you like fresh coconut milk 👍

larger coconuts means its ripe and edible
These were very small in size, they were not ripe and not enough fruit inside (practically raw). Larger coconuts make more fruit and the milk taste better. please dont ship small undersized coconuts.

A Taste of the Caribbean in Ohio
My wife had no idea what green coconuts were all about, so I ordered these from Amazon. They were perfect, and she loved them! They were fresh, and the water and jelly inside were delicious! Thanks for a wonderful culinary taste experience without having to go to a tropical location to get it!

I ordered 3 whole only one has coconut meat
The first one I opened is good has meat. The 2 does not have it is like phlegm giving two spoon. The seller knows which one has meat. So be honest in sending items

ONE WAS ROTTED AND EMPTY ALL LOOKED LESS FRESH THAN MY FIRST ORDER
This is my second time ordering these. The 1st ALL 5Stars. THE 2nd ORDER NOT GOOD: ALL BRUISED BADLY. ONE WAS HAD A HUGE BROWN SOOT ON THE SKIN AND THERE WAS NO WATER INSIDE. ONLY ORANGE FIZZ.

I freaking loved them, they were so cute and fresh. I can’t be more happy 😭
The media could not be loaded. I needed to get some fresh coconut water so bad, and I am glad i could find it here. The package was delayed but the wait was definitely worth it!!!!

Too ripe, but it's a start
When in the tropics near an ocean, you're burning up. You stop at a roadside vendor. They pull a bright green coconut from their cooler, hack the top off with a machete, add a dollop of rum, stir, and you get it just like that. The inside is more like pudding. Kids love it. Groceries in the US are oddly ignorant about tropical fruits. The brown bare-shelled coconut they sell is used for cattle food in tropical countries. Papayas are ruined by chilling and pineapples nearly ruined. They're a little more careful with bananas, and they're learning to stock gold kiwis. This box of coconuts that I ordered was overripe. The water had separated, but there was still a little soft meat. The outside was mostly brown. This was not what I had hoped for, but I am delighted that maybe a market for green coconut is developing. Maybe even one day, US supermarkets will stop chilling perfect papayas and pineapples before their customers can find out what a real one is supposed to be like.
