so i took a bit of a gamble and bought this, at the time of purchase it was $6 usd per pound pros: 6 dollars a lb 32 an oz first ingredient is beef! not salt! tastes good easy to stir in comes in a good storage box easy to scoop paste survived the bad p a-ckgng < cons: the plastic container flimsy container - will update how it holds up a little smaller than i though kind of pricey to buy a large amoount even if cheaper per unit/ per use before added to food has a slightly odd scent - which goes away when heated and my final ramble; i like it made French onion soup - the real long way of 8 hours cooking the onions and its good with this beef stock! just cus its maggi doesn't mean it tastes like the maggi sauce just good old rich beef. worth it to me, ill update if i find anything it excels or fails at

Pretty good quality. Doesn't seem to have as much beef flavor as some other premium bases I've used. Price was reasonable.

I LIKED THE FLAVOR AND TASTE WHICH IS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

If you want great soup, this is the base to use. It is the closest thing to Sysco restaurant base I can find. It tops all store soup bases

too much salt, but the product was expired before i even received it. have used a couple before noticing.

I purchased this 7/10/25 and it was delivered 7/13/25. The expiration is 8/27/25. 4 stars bc I like the product.
