Kind of flimsy
Plastic is kind of flimsy-was a gift so I don’t know how it worked out

Gets the job done
It was easy to assemble. The hook seems sturdy. Only thing is, one of the cloth straps that holds the ball is twisted. It can't be untwisted - it's just sewn that way.

Great for home use
I purchased this volleyball holder for my daughter to practice at home. Comes with an adjustment strap to increase or decrease the height of the ball. Doesn't necessarily hold the ball tightly if you hit the ball hard. But gives her the ability to practice at home alone.

Love but poorly made
Absolutely love the concept but poorly made. My team is constantly hitting the ball out of the holder and it’s starting to shred.

Great piece of equipment
This product exceeded my expectation! I had read some reviews stating the clip broke off easy so I bought a sturdy one and that did the trick. I’ve got a seventh grader currently trying this out and it’s yet to give out. Super impressed with this!

Save your money
Not for hard hitters. My daughter is 5’10” and 13 years old. With quarantine, we were looking for ways for her to keep her skill training up until she could go back to her club’s skill practices. She plays outside hitter and I don’t set well enough for her to practice hitting. We saw this and thought it was perfect for her, but it’s not meant for true volleyball players. The first problem is the Velcro. It is not strong enough to hold the ball when it’s hit. We were still having to shag the ball every hit and then spend the time to put the ball back into the harness. We finally grabbed her old U12 ball that she no longer uses and ended up taping the Velcro closure shut with packing tape. (See pic) That worked well for the Velcro, but now about every 20-25 hits, the D ring and strap that hold the tether and the harness together come undone. The ball and harness, go flying across the yard. We have to leave the ladder out so that we can reassemble it over and over again. The last thing is the D ring itself. Hitters aren’t supposed to hit across, but down. The D ring is right on top of the ball. My daughter keeps hitting the metal ring with the tips of her fingers and it hurts. We thought about putting a scrunchy over the ring, but at this point, it’s just not worth trying to figure out how to make this work. The idea is great, the quality is not.

Good but things to think about with the purchase -
Love the idea but it’s not really very adjustable and if we hang it on a rim, it’s too low. And if you try and shorten it, getting ones hitting hand closer to the rim is dangerous. We adapted by hanging it from a post off a wooden fort/play set. We also got creative and made it adjustable. So it works- but you might need to get creative to make it work for your athlete.

Works great
As advertised. Daughter is 12 yrs old and really likes it. I put a piece of plywood over the basket to keep the ball from going in the hoop. So far it has been pretty sturdy.
