This is the way to go for students with dyslexia.

From earliest times humans have relied on the senses of sight and hearing and touch to gather information about their surroundings. The Wilson system of Learning To Read relies on a system of six types of syllables. These six types are used to explain the sounds of 85% of the English language (most impressive when one thinks of the very large number of foreign contributions it contains)! When one normally reads, they are actually hearing the text in their minds. This manual superbly outlines a systematic approach to teach reading to such difficult students as those who need ESL training.
