I bought this 4 years ago and it is still working great! It is the perfect size for the 2 of us. So easy to use and simple to clean. I never made rice at home before this purchase and now it’s a staple. Rinse my rice, add my liquid of choice and seasonings and push start. We have perfect rice every single time. It really couldn’t be more simple. I have even added a can of cooked meat (chicken or spam), can of drained beans and even frozen vegetables for a one pot meal. If it were to fail I would purchase another asap.

Searched for a solution to make overnight oatmeal for literally years. Well, this is the solution to that beleaguered search. I load the pot and set the delayed cooking timer on the oatmeal setting and voila! Perfect, absolutely perfect oatmeal every time! AND, no sticking in the pot! Whole Foods will miss my morning oatmeal run!

We recently purchased a rice cooker from another company, I won't name it but you might say that their art is cuisine. Rice was fine but it always boiled over. Washed rice, soaked it, didn't wash, tried different brands, made a smaller amount, added butter or olive oil which is supposed to dissipate the bubbles, didn't matter. We returned it and got this product (8-cup). It's flawless. Never boils over, rice is excellent, simple to use. One thing to be mindful of is on the side under the hinge is a small white plastic water receptacle which appears to catch runoff from the lid when opened. Just remember to empty that every use or so. Couldn't be happier and worth every penny! Truly set it and forget it, beeps when rice is done, cleanup is a breeze.

For me, this rice cooker is replacing an Aroma pro rice cooker that suddenly died. It wasn't old enough die, but it perished suddenly. When looking for a replacement, I was considering an Instant Pot, and I researched and asked around about them. In that process I found that Instant Pot makes a rice cooker and got super excited. I didn't really want to pay for an instant pot because I wouldn't use the other functions very much. So I decided to try this.Awesome decision on my part! It cooks my rice (jasmine and basmati) sooo perfectly. I like the pot in this rice cooker way better than the one that was in my Aroma. The Aroma would almost overcook the rice sometimes, and even if it was just nicely cooked, the rice stuck. The Instant Pot does not stick! It's a much better coating.My one and only issue is cleanup. The pot is easy - dishwasher and done. The cooker itself needs to be tended to a little. When it gets hot and boils up initially, it does sputter and spew a little. I sit it on a kitchen towel and that's not such a big deal, but the inset part of the lid causes the starchy goop to pool up, so that needs to be wiped out. Again, ugh, but not the end of the world and well worth the yummy rice. The really annoying thing is the lip/rim inside the cooker. It fills with the starchy water and isn't the easiest thing to clean. Again, to me the cooker is still worth it, but I think Instant Pot could fix that issue.I would buy this again in a heartbeat and am enjoying using it. And we use it.... at least 2-3 times a week. Love it!!!

I love my instant rice and grain cooker! I have made all sorts of rices/grains with this, and I especially love the Delay Start feature. I set me peat meal the night before, and it is ready when I wake up. So convenient!
