Works great easy to install
Installed as a Bluetooth stereo for my golf cart. 100 Dbs of sound is more than enough. It is a fantastic system and sounds great.

Nice speaker
Love how the mount on mirrors. On my Indian Scout the belt out tunes great. Only issue I've had is the power button doesn't want to shutoff speakers. But once my phone is disconnected they automatically shutoff after a few minutes. Don't forget to buy the correct mount bolts for your bike separately.

Ridiculously low-level sound for a JBL produc
Having owned many different JBL speakers over the past 30 or so years, I was excited to find that they made a "sound system" for motorcycles. What really disappointed me was the ridiculously low-level of sound they reproduced. The output of the speakers was fine if you were sitting still without the engine running; however, once you start your motorcycle, the sound output barely overcomes the sound of your engine, even with stock exhaust. And then, once you start riding down the road, the sound output is worthless. The second problem is the mounting method. The threads on the speaker are inserts and they strip easily. And, the speakers work their way lose after riding for less than 100 miles. I had them on my motorcycle for two rides, and removed them as they were more of a nuisance than purposeful. Since I couldn't return them, I decided to mount them on my pontoon boat. They worked okay, but after having them out on the water and being exposed to spray a few times, they stopped working. Please note that I said spray, not immersed in water or exposed to rain. I should have done more research before I bought these junk speakers. JBL, which used to be a great brand, is now made in Mexico, and obviously, their quality is no longer what it once was.

Jbl cruise
Threads are NOT universal, had to make a bracket and bolt on fairing. They do sound great in garage. Too cold in northern Ohio for a true road test.

Extremely happy with these!
The sound is great and doesn't garble at full blast. I wear wind reducing ear plugs and at 55 to 65MPH I still hear my music pretty well. I tried riding high speed without my plugs, but the wind actually drowned out the music pretty bad. I've seen some reviews regarding exhausts drowing out sound, the stock exhaust on my Vulcan S is pretty quiet so I can't speak to that being an issue. UPDATE: Just installed a new exhaust that is pretty loud and still the quality of sound is good!

Missing hardware, overpriced garbage
Speakers are trash and quiet, no bass at all. No hardware included. Biggest rip off I’ve ever spent money on for a bike.
