"Hotly staged bike chases" (Variety), state-of-the-art weaponry and "excellent explosions" (Hollywood Drama-Logue) form a deadly combination in this "lively" (Los Angeles Times) action film about a couple of modern-day, motorcycle-ridin' Robin Hoods. Starring Mickey Rourke (Get Carter), Don Johnson (Tin Cup) and Vanessa L. Williams (Shaft), Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man contains thrills and excitement that never let upwith surprise twists at every turn! In the lawless world of the future, drifters Harley Davidson (Rourke) and The Marlboro Man (Johnson) help an old friend save his bar by robbing the very bank trying to takeover his property. But this is no ordinary bank and the armored car they roll is filled not with moneybut drugs! Now Harley and Marlboro become the objects of a ruthless manhunt by the corrupt bank chief's deadly and unstoppable henchmen. Review: Good to have - Was aware of this movie when it was out. Didn't hear anything good about it from anyone. Fast forward to year 2023. It was on cable decided to watch and decide for myself. Also I figured maybe I would get some nostalgia and I ride Harleys now. Watched and enjoyed it. Can see why no one liked it or payed attention to it back then. Mickey Rourke was not as popular as he used to be, and people mainly knew Don Johnson as the guy from Miami Vice. But both actors were great, all the supporting cast were all up and comers and really good. It's got culture, action, a good story, a pinch of science fiction and a touch of drama. Some parts are a bit campy and a little cheesy, but it works in this movie. Anyway watch and decide for your self, I like this movie. Glad to have it in my collection. Review: Good Old Fashion 90s movie! - Good Old Fashion 90s movie (GOOD STORYTELLING) that would draw you in and have you invested in the outcome. You just go for a ride with these two outlaws as they try to do things rite by there "family"

Great Movie
My husband loves this movie and has watched it more times than I can count. It’s got that old-school action feel, great one-liners, and he says the pairing of Mickey Rourke and Don Johnson is perfect. Definitely a must-have for any fan of ‘90s action flicks.

A Timeless Classic with a Cult-Like Following
The Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man film, starring Mickey Rourke and Don Johnson, was released in 1991 when I myself was busily chasing the white picket fence and existing, not living, in a then unbeknownst, finance and spend, Matrix-like battery state of involuntary servitude to creditors and struggling paycheck to paycheck. In 1992 I finally picked up a VHS copy of Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man and was immediately mesmerized by the character that was a variety of Harley Davidson motorcycles: Rourke’s FXR 98 Inch Stroker used in the opening scenes, and the FXLR 80 Inch Evolution stunt bike. In the opening scenes, Harley, played by Mickey Rourke, packs his saddlebags and tears out of town to roll through several states free as can be. Later, Virginia, played by Chelsea Field, expresses in her police uniform that she essentially admired the come and go freedom enjoyed by Harley and Don Johnson’s character, Marlboro. This simple exchange between two film characters, while seemingly inconsequential in the bigger picture of life, was, nonetheless the catalyst that sparked an epiphany within my own way of thinking; I woke up and realized that I was shackled by not just debt but a Honda motorcycle that just didn’t have that “...better to be dead and cool then alive and uncool” vibe. So, I immediately returned the VHS and, just one more time, purchased a custom Harley Davidson FXR on credit. Since then, I slowly but surely escaped the chains of debt and have been self-employed since 1996. I can choose to get up and work or mount up and ride; it is my choice to live as I choose and not exist to pay interest on loans. To celebrate staying self-employed, I worked with Mentor to build the profiled replica of the famed Harley Davidson and Marlboro Man Chopper Motorcycle and no payments are due. Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man - Enjoyable
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man is an enjoyable older movie. Well-acted and a good script, it's still entertaining. The DVD cover art is attractive, and it arrived in good condition. A reasonable value, I would order it again.

Best buddy action comedy. A Man's Classic.
When I first saw this movie I was really young and thought it was one of the most bad ass movie ever. I decided to buy it as an adult, and it's still one of the bad ass movies ever. The movie really shows the culture changes from the 80s to the 90s. It makes me miss the 90s and my childhood. Theres probably not a better "dude" movie than this. This is a man's movie. It was meant for men. It was talking to US. From life struggles, to love to friendship. Yeah, some of it was a bit eccentric at times but I love it for what it was. Wish they'd make more movies like this. The bond between the 2 men were unbreakable. Reminds me of my and my best friend. They were grown up and still getting into shenanigans. Great concept. I can watch this over and over.

Great to have on Blu Ray.
Trust me this is a truly great guy movie. Having Mickey Rourke as Harley, and the immortal Don Johnson as Marlboro as a couple of loner friends, makes this fantastic. Harley comes back into town to see Marlboro. And they discover that their old hangout is about to be closed, unless the owner comes up with a few million dollars for a new lease from the sleazy bank Great Trust. The bank is a front for a new drug called Crystal Dream, and the banks president (Tom Sizemore), has no intention of making the new lease any easier to obtain. So the duo with some help from a few friends, including the great ex-WWE wrestler Big John Studd, steal money from one of the Great Banks armored trucks. In the process of doing so they come across the indestructable henchmen sent to kill them. One of the henchmen is the younger Baldwin Brother Daniel. After escaping the initial onslaught of gunfire they discover that they have stolen not money but pure Crystal Dream. They try to make a deal of obtaining the money for the lease but have to have a couple of more shoot outs from the henchmen. Culminating in a final showdown in the old airplane graveyard. This is another favorite that is not to be missed. Pure action from start to finish.
