Great, adjustable, folding, portable, lightweight-yet-stable stand for my Kindle, iPad, and fused glass and stained glass art!
Great, adjustable, folding, portable, lightweight-yet-stable stand for my Kindle, iPad, and fused glass and stained glass art! இ Fuzzy Wuzzy's Summary: ѾѾѾѾѾ Highly recommended with warm fuzzies! From the product photo, these look like repurposed wire clothes hangers. But they work really well and the two hinges allow for perfect adjustments of display angle while remaining firm so that the hinges do not shift when more than a pound of weight leans on them (even on the little "6A" model). I use these for both my Kindle and iPad. Since the front and back legs can fold together, I also pack one to take on board an airplane, and during the flight, I can prop my Kindle or iPad with this stand on my seat's tray and read hands-free. The vinyl coating on the stand's leg areas provide a decent grip on most surfaces even though I think it would be even nicer if the vinyl had a "stickier" texture to it. Along with propping up my Kindle or iPad for reading, another great use for this stand is to hold my iPad when using it as a digital picture frame. You put the iPad into "Picture Frame" mode from the lock screen. When the lock screen appears, do not slide to unlock. Instead, tap on the icon that is to the right of the "Slide to Unlock" bar. That is it; the iPad will start up a slideshow of your photos and images held in your photo library. You may want to take a look at some of the basic settings for this feature as well. To do so, tap the "Settings" icon. You will see that "Picture Frame" has its own section, just below "Brightness & Wallpaper". Tap there and you will have access to these settings: 'Transition': Choose from "Dissolve" or "Origami" for the transition effect between photos. 'Show Each Photo For': Set how long each photo stays on the screen for (from 2 to 20 seconds). 'Zoom in on Faces': Toggle on or off. 'Shuffle': Toggle on or off. 'All Photos or Albums': Choose whether you want to display all photos or select just certain albums to display in photo frame mode. So when you are not using your iPad for work, reading, or browsing, you can place your iPad on this stand and run a "Picture Frame" slideshow to display your favorite photos. You can place the iPad on this stand either with or without a sleeve or case wrapped around the iPad. If you use this stand as a docking station to park your iPad in vertical/portrait orientation, there is not enough clearance for the charging cable to plug into the iPad from underneath. But this is easily remedied by turning the iPad upside down in "inverted portrait" orientation so that the Dock Connector charging port is on top while you continue to read the iPad in vertical orientation. I also use these stands to display my fused glass and stained glass art. When displaying a translucent fused glass plate or bowl, a transparent no-color acrylic plastic stand would be better, but the few acrylic stands that I have tried were either too rickety or too bulky and large. There are also other plate stands made of metal wire, but many of them either use too much metal or are embellished with swirly curvy designs and accents, and I like these stands because, for displaying art, they do not grab attention for themselves! I adapted one of these model-6A stands for use in displaying a triangular fused glass plate. Even though the metal wire on this stand is quite stiff, you can still bend and shape it if needed. So for a triangular fused glass plate, I took a small piece of wire and tied the top of the rear legs together right below the hinge area to form what is sometimes referred to as an "easel plate stand". With the two hinges tied together like this, I can also still fold the legs together. This model-6A stand is currently sold as a two-pack, which is great because you will soon find other uses for holding books, pictures, art, and electronics. And you cannot beat the $6 price for two stands *and* the Free Super Saver Shipping that Amazon offers for them!

Durable, Inexpensive and Perfect Stand
I am using this to hold my iPad 1 and a variety of books from a large casebook to a small paperback. The width is slightly larger than that of a pack of playing cards. It doesn't struggle to hold a book or iPad 1 (in either portrait or landscape modes. Further, the bottom lip is short enough so that it doesn't cover the screen on an iPad or the text in a paperback. It works like it should, and is easy to adjust angle (just push the back leg backward our forward). If you are looking for a stand to hold books, papers, e readers, etc, look no further. For $5.95 you cannot go wrong. PLUS you get 2 stands, something I didn't even realize when purchasing. Keep one at home or the office and travel with the other.

Sturdy little easels. Worked wonderfully for displaying signs and frames at our wedding.
We used these to display various things at our wedding, and they worked out wonderfully. I bought 8 of them, all of them arrived in working order, and they supported everything from small, lightweight driftwood signs to an 11"x"14" framed photo. The only thing we had in mind for these that couldn't be supported (fell backwards from the weight) was a 12"x16" framed photo. Hopefully that'll give you a good idea of these easels' size limitations, but it'll depend on the weight of the frame(s) you're using too. I was surprised by how much they could support, given their small size though. Great product!

Get the job done, but aren’t great as an inexpensive solution
I wanted something to display books, so I bought these. For my purposes they are okay. Some of my problems seem like they would be universal, no matter what you display. These work to display books of all sizes, but the bigger ones can be prone to tip these over due to construction. The same can be said for anything you display I think. Anything larger than about eight inches in height is reaching the max. You can adjust the width of the base (although the only reason seems to be to store these), but that is it. Books (items), can fall in between the wire easily with a little nudge. For my purposes, I wouldn’t recommend displaying thicker books due to the lip that would dig into the pages. They fall over because of how light weight they are, and are not good at displaying larger picture books. These are okay at best, and might be good, just know the limits of these items. A large reason why I bought them was how inexpensive they were so that is a big plus. For small items to display, these work pretty well.

Perfect all purpose stands!
I was worried this stands would be too large and look tacky however they are perfect! The stands are very small but VERY sturdy and they hold items that are MUCH larger than they are. The width of the stand is about 3 inches and the height up to the screw is about 4.5 inches. The lip to hold items is about 2 inches. However do not let the small size deceive you. I have not found anything these stands can't hold. I have put plastic items on them, 12" in diameter VERY heavy plates, 12" tall porcelain dolls in their boxes, anything! The stands are small enough that they can easily hold small items without being distracting and are sturdy enough to hold large items, the screw that holds together the stand together is perfect, extremely tight. You can extend the back as little or as far are you want, there is no set width. I love this because many stands I have found automatically extend backwards to a large amount that requires a lot of shelf room which I don't have. These allow you to adjust it perfectly without ever compromising the safety of your piece. On top of this the thin wires are covered with a black rubber that NEVER slips! It will literally grip any surface without ever moving! This only adds to the versatility of this item! I can't say enough good things about these stands, they couldn't be better made. These are the stands I have been looking FOREVER for.

I wanted a couple of these so I didn't have to lay my albums flat on top of each other and to display the ones I'm presently listening to. They work great, very sturdy! I stacked about 5-6 LPs on each stand and it's been holding for more than a day.

Works perfectly fine and looks good with the handmade plates we have from Hungary

The two pack is nice. Not good for very large or heavy items, but smaller things like game cases or paperback books should be fine (wouldnt go taller than 6 inches on my items though) Items will be at an angle due to how this stand works. If you want something to display vertically, not so much

My second time ordering these display holders because they are so awesome and I am super impressed with how sturdy they are and how great they hold heavier items! I use mine to display my heavier pottery dishes/bakeware! Easy to position and setup, the rubber outer coating grips to whatever item you are displaying so there’s no sliding or moving! Discrete and simple! Love them!
