Old Style Lenormand

I know a lot of people complain about the reverse or back of the cards in this deck. Honestly, once I had them in my hands and saw the beautiful art I didn't care about the backs. I also know some complain because the art was somehow changed from the original art. I really like this deck because the art is still beautiful and simple. The art is focus and doesn't involve archetypes like some other Lenormand decks. This is one of my favorite decks along with the Dreaming Way Lenormand by Kwon Shina and Lynn Araujo, and the Fairy Tale Lenormand by Lisa Hunt and Arwen Lynch. The card stock and the surfaces of the cards are beautiful. My only complain is regarding the box I wish this deck came in a tin box or at least in a box of the same quality as the Dreaming Way Lenormand. Maybe, some day it's going to be done.

I love these cards from the moment I spotted them, the meanings are very clear. I wish they didn't have the lettering on the back, that's the only distracting part. They are perfect for my smaller hands. Also, the book is lovely too. It tells you the meaning of a card, and what it symbolizes in some specific spreads! ( insert bias because I'm more use to traditional tarot cards than lenormand so this is my new beginning- learning lenormand cartomanncy ) I will say though, because it came in a simple box, anyone who orders this deck should consider bundling it with other items so it gets a box with a bit more protection. We know how fragile these paper boxes can be in transit lol. I would recommend these cards as beginner friendly( especially for the bargain price and the content of the booklet).

I love these beautiful cards! They're adorable to look at, easy to see, a nice feel to the hands, and shuffle nicely... It comes with a nice book. A perfect set of Lenormand cards and book. A must have for me. Thank you.

This is a lovely Lenormand deck. I like the way the card names are written on each card-- not simply across the bottom, but on a little banner integrated with the artwork. It's very readable and helpful. My only complaints are with several of the cards. First is the image of the fish. The artist uses flying fish, and the image is not only unattractive, but kind of goes against the meaning of the fish image, which includes flowing. The fish would be better depicted swimming in water than flying through the air. Second is the images of the man and woman. There are two options for each sex- two men and two women- so you can take your pick which set you want to include in your reading. The problem is, they are all unattractive. I think an older couple and a younger couple would have been more appropriate than two equally unappealing couples! Especially for love-related readings! Well, that's my two cents. I'll definitely be using the deck-- the cardstock and other images are great.

Have several sets, but there were always one or two cards that were pictured not quite right for me. And that would throw the whole deck off for me. (My heart would wince.) I want whips to be whips, not breasty gypsy women, or the snake to be the object you're first drawn to, not wrapped around someone that you look at first, etc. But then I found this deck and everything clicked. Its just beautifully illustrated and soothing, sort of faded colors. Just the right size for shuffleing. I think what you read so often in reviews is true. You know when you know, and the right deck does feel like it speaks to you. Anyway. Wish I knew how to donate my many unused Tarot and Lem decks. Im sure they would speak to others. But I cant speak highly enough about these gently illustrated Lems for me.

Very nice pictures and sturdy. I have trouble shuffling them but I have arthritis and small hands.. Booklet is included with card meanings and layouts.

I've for been a lenormand reader and collector for many years, and I have a variety of decks. They all have a personality. This one is soooo easy to read, its very communicative. The way the pictures are presented are cozy, straight forward and bold. So far its a joy to read with. They riffle shuffle like a dream. They are just so cozy! Love them.

Achei interessante e foi uma boa descoberta. Gosto do tamanho pequeno para vários lançamentos com muitas cartas. Gosto da cor e dos desenhos, foi o que me atraiu mais. Cartas são finas. Além disso, acompanha com um livro que simples para quem está no início. Tem duas cartas com mulher e duas com homem o que dá versatilidade ao lançamento.

Good quality, lovely feel; in the hands. Artwork is clear, contains all necessary information and no more. Good size (about playing card size) for my small hands.
