The media could not be loaded.  Would highly recommend this product for anyone who has a stove. The fan starts automatically once the stove temperature reaches 100F. Perfect heat distribution & virtually silent running (a slight noise if it touches the rim on the stove top in which case we push the base back carefully with the fire poker). The magnetic thermometer is handy to know when to close the stove down fully to save fuel. The only thing we are asking is why didn't we buy one sooner?I would say if you have small children in the house or visiting you would have to very mindful that it could injure their fingers quite dramatically if they touched it during operation. So some sort of fireguard would be necessary.

Purchased as a replacement for an Aldi bought one that didn’t start unless you have it a nudge...This one appears to have a higher heat threshold but does start on its own and does blow a fair amount of air considering the small size of the blades. Even when the logs have burnt out the temperature in the room continues to increase (I’ve seen +5 degrees) from the fan circulating the warm air. Would have been useful for it to swivel also but hey - it’s an excuse to buy another :-)

I was a little concerned about buying this due to some reviews but I decided to try it anyway, well I am so glad I did its great throws out some great heat I am burning so much less fuel and as for some people complaining about the fan being noisy well I haven't noticed unless I strain to listen for it and then yes you can hear a small whurl like any other fan but I really wouldn't say its noisy as it gets up to speed or slowing down I have heard a couple of slight noises nothing worth complaining about and for the heat efficiency and the economy on fuel its a no brainer I highly recommend this product.

The fan works fine and as expected, it has distributed more heat from our log burner, I also think it was a good price. However the thermometer was not included - Amazon did say I could return for a refund but as the fan was a good price and what I wanted I decided to just purchase a thermometer separately and keep the fan. Just annoying!

Really impressed, fan is virtually silent despite going round at an impressive speed of knots and really does blow the warm air onto the room. I've got it directed at my armchair and I'm toasty warm, and I've been hanging clothes in front of the log burner and the flow of hot air is drying my clothes in double quick time. I ordered another one to blow even more hot air out into our chilly old cottage

Thermometer is handy! Had to play around with placement on the stove. When I placed it at the back as instructed, I didn’t feel any difference. I found placing it towards the front and angled AWAY from the direction I wanted, made a better change. So there is some playing around with it to get the best output.Thought I had to give the blades a push-start around 100 degrees but the blades will start on their own eventually.

The media could not be loaded.  Have been using for 5 days now. This does exactly what it says. It uses heat from the stove it sits on generate energy to move the fan blades, which push the heat rising from the stove out to circulate around the room/building. It’s almost silent, and is unobtrusive. It starts moving not long after the fire is lit. I’m not quite sure what more expensive ones do better than this.

Really does distribute the heat from the stove into the room.Very good value for money
