Well built. Seals very well. Like the included retrieval strap and handle. Have some hints here...
Well built. Heavy duty. Does what it says. Seals very well. Like the included retrieval strap and handle. Used with VIAIR (00016 6' Portable Compressor Air Extension Hose https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ELJD0BW/ to block septic tank 4" output pipe while fixing hole in a downstream fitting. A little hard getting around the corner in the T from the filter pipe section into output pipe. Found it helped to squeeze some air out of the plug then capping the air hose to hold it slightly flatter for insertion. For use with the air hose, removed the guts from the plug's schrader valve. Even though the hose has the piece to open the valve, I wanted to be sure it couldn't be accidentally locked in place somehow. The hose has no place to install the valve at the pump end. Therefore... - Connected hose tight to plug. - Squeezed plug to flatten a little and capped with a regular schrader valve cap. - Inserted into down into filter pipe and 90 degrees through T into output pipe. - Removed cap and Inflated with bicycle pump just enough to grab plus a couple of extra pumps. - Folded the hose and pinched HARD while disconnecting pump and capping with the valve cap. - Made the downstream repair. - Removed cap to deflate then removed plug. Hint: When done, replaced air hose cap then soaked the whole thing in Clorox Cleanup (could use bleach) for a few hours, swished it around in a bucket, then rinsed. I don't know for sure, but figured it would probably not hurt the rubber.

Perfect
Works perfect. Got the job done where another unit would not hold the seal.

Excellent test ball!!!
These test balls are great for doing sewer leak detection. They slide through the lines fairly easy and are smaller in diameter before inflated than cherne. The pressure relief valve prevents them from popping if over inflated. They are very thick rubber and last a long time. Only problems I've encountered is finding where to buy and over time the valve will break. That's after months of daily use, spinning and pushing them long distance down lines. I would like to find just the valve adaptor. I have several test balls with no valve adaptor. They can also be used with a water hose and will still plug the line. The ball itself would last for years. I would highly recommend this test ball to anybody doing leak detection on a regular basis.

This thing works like a champ!
What is there to say? It’s a PIG for your poop pipe. It does exactly what pizza does to my colon - stops it right up. If you need to conduct a hydrostatic pressure test of your plumbing system, this is the bulb to use. It fit well in my sewer pipe and came out easily when deflated.

Good product, will not fit to plug toilet.
Client wanted us to insert this into the toilet to plug it up and fill to brim for descaling toilets in renovations, however this will not fit into the trap way. Solid construction, you will need the air hose.

Test plug failed on first use
The test plug failed on first use. The rubber body of the plug blew a hole and could no longer hold pressure rendering it useless. This occurred a couple days after the return window closed so now I am out what I paid for a defective product with no option to get my money back or get a replacement

Once I received it I realize it was something else. That was my mistake, description of product is correct. Nevertheless I returned it with no issues.. happy with this transaction and will continue to buy products from amazon for this very reason.

Great plug! Use to block off sewers and test waterproofing. Only minor thing which isn’t even really a problem is it’s difficult to pump up for minor works such as testing waterproofing in shower trays. Must be due to the ungodly amount of pressure you can put into this little plug. 57psi is insane! Holds sewer lines with a huge amount of head with no problems. Highly recommend!

Worked well, delivered faster then listed, passed plumbing inspection. Was easy to use with a simple bike pump.
